A: To use the auto dosing cap, flip the bottle and give a firm squeeze to dispense the perfect amount of laundry detergent for a standard size load.

Q: How much does the cap hold? The auto-dosing doesn't work (nothing stops the detergent from coming out when you pour, it should only come out when you squeeze), so I need to use a measuring spoon.

Q: Do I turn the bottle upside down with the lid to the top still attached and squeeze once for small/ medium load or twice for bigger loads, then open the cap for the laundry detergent to come out? :-D

Q: Do I flip the bottle upside down with the cap still on and squeeze once for a small to medium load? Do I do the same for larger loads? Then do I take the cap off but will it stop on it own? Thanks!

The self-dosing cap doesn't seem to work. When I turn the bottle over, the liquid starts running out before I can even squeeze the bottle as instructed. When I then squeeze the bottle, the liquid doesn't ever stop running. For that reason, I have no idea if I've squeezed out too much or too little.

I have two small kids and use this for everyone's laundry. I like that it is concentrated so the bottle is small and easy to use-- you just squirt it directly into the soap tray. Fragrance free is important to me and this hits the mark for quality and price.

Love the fact that it is truly unscented, but also gets out odors in our clothes! Some of the reviews have issues with the auto-dosing cap, but if you hold the bottle right side up between squeezes, it releases the pressure and I've never had an issue. I have switched from a name brand free and clear to this exclusively, and won't go back unless they discontinue this (please dont!) I love it!

Cap stopped auto dosing after about 3 washes. I have a toddler potty training and had to wash one load 3 times, doubling the amount of detergent each time, to get the pee smell to fade. Still not fully out after 3 washes and a soak. Only bought since was put in spot for another Ever spring product that was $4.50 and thought it would be worth trying for the price

“Ever spring, down-to-earth solutions that are up to earths standards” “biodegradable formula”, “96% biobased”, & “this mighty bottle provides the same 64-load as our 100oz bottle, but uses significantly less plastic & water” .. while sitting on the shelf right next to the watered down 100oz bottle that significantly uses more plastic.

I do not have any complaints- I have senstive skin and the free & clear version of this detergent has not upset my skin. The self-measuring cap is amazing and such a convininet and mess-free design. My clothes feel as good as when I use other name brands. I will re-purchase.

Love love LOVE this detergent. We are a fragrance-free house and this laundry detergent is perfect. It also lasts a really long time, since its a concentrate and the lid has some coolness going on where one squeeze gives you just the right amount of detergent. No waste or over use!

I love it. I’ve had no issues with a leaky container, the auto dispense works perfectly, its small and takes up less space in my small apartment, and it washes clothes well. My boyfriend has sensitive skin and breaks out from certain detergents and this is the first one we’ve tried that hasn’t done that to him. I’m glad I tried this product and will continue to use it.

Okay, for starters, I love the detergent itself. I feel that it cleans well, it does not irritate my sensitive skin, and my clothes come out of the wash very fresh. However - it is a major leaky mess!!!! It is not “auto-dosing.” Unless I just happened to get a defective bottle. I love using concentrated detergents, but I absolutely do not love this packaging. It leaks, which means wasting of the detergent. It does not “auto-dose” at all. Such a shame that the packaging causes it to become a sticky, wasteful mess.
