Q: Will I be able to add an extender to the detachable hose?

submitted by Swihart - 4 years ago
  • A: You should be able to replace the product hose with a standard replacement hose that's longer than the one included... I purchased a longer hose at Home Depot for a different dual hand-held shower head and it did fit into this product's diverter when I attached it. I hope that helps answer your question. Good luck

Q: The main shower head has stopped working. Does the main shower need to be replaced, or is it an issue with the diverted? I have not had this dual shower head long, only a few months and surprised that it has already stopped working properly.

submitted by Unsatisfied - 4 years ago
  • A: Sounds like the diverter maybe your problem... keep in mind you also have a diverter behind your shower wall that diverts the water from tub to shower also. Good luck

Q: Is the top one detachable?

submitted by Cee - 5 years ago
  • A: You attach a water diverter to your existing ½" thread shower arm, then attach one stationary shower head and on the side of the diverter there's a slot to hold the hand shower which is the one with the hose attached to it that can be detached or used and adjusted while in the slot.

Q: I’m going to ask a real question since nobody else has. When both heads are operating is there equal water pressure for both or is the top head going to drip on me ??

submitted by Nick - 5 years ago
  • A: There is a difference in pressure when both heads are active at the same time, since the amount of water flowing in cannot be changed. When one shower head is active, all of the water flowing in is concentrated to that head only. When both are active, that same amount of water is split between both heads. This leads to a definite small difference, but nothing too extreme, both showers still remain functional with ample water pressure.

Q: Is there a way to turn the water off while you lather?

submitted by Cheryl - 5 years ago
  • A: Yes, one of the seven settings included on both heads is a pause mode. It does not fully turn off the water, as that could cause a backup of pressure which would result in damage to the head or plumbing, but rather slows the flow to a slow drip. When finished lathering, you can easily resume the flow by using the dial. Hope this helps!

Q: Can I mount it to my old shower? And do I need ant accessories

submitted by Ijs - 5 years ago
  • A: Our products will work with any shower that has a standard 1/2 inch connection. Most houses in the US have this. As for accessories, they are not necessary as everything that is needed for installation is included, even some plumber's tape.
