You can also reduce or remove creasing by rolling the rug, pattern side up, and massaging the creases with your hands. The backing will loosen to help the rug lay flat. For the stubborn creases, flip the rug over and place a damp towel over the crease. Use the synthetic setting, and iron the damp towel; this should remove the crease.

There are many positive reviews for this rug. My experience is different. The rug I received looks old, worn out and a shabby turquoise color (not a deep aqua as described). Disappointing but hey, you can't win'em all. Most things I purchase at Target are great.

I can’t believe this is a shag rug! It’s so soft and it lays perfectly. The color looks great and the color is true to the picture. It’s a breeze to vacuum. I was very hesitant to get a shag rug because it’s sometimes a bear to vacuum, but this is absolutely wonderful to vacuum. I am very pleased! Highly recommend!!

Rug arrived with dirt all over the underside. Called Target and was told there was nothing they could do. Target should take more accountability since these 3rd party sellers are selling on the Target platform. Buyer Beware.

I’ve got pets whom I adore, but you can’t really have nice things when you’ve got pets! Cats will be cats, dogs will be dogs...things happen. With these rugs, I still get quality for a great price and am not heartbroken when it’s time to replace as I didn’t spend $2000 on my rug! Happy I found this site as I will be coming back. I hadn’t considered a shag rug in decades as I’m scarred from 70’s shag. I bought shag to challenge my cats from pulling on it and seriously I’m really loving the shag and so does my dog for comfort from the wood floor.

We read tons of reviews and figured we would fall into the “get what you pay for” group. We assumed we would get a so so rug but that got the job done with a baby and 2 dogs ruining it! However it was actually even better than we imagined - full, soft, pretty. Seems durable so far (it’s been laid out about a week. No issues yet!) I vacuumed it right away and it got nice and fluffy and has been great since. Very pleased :)
