I purchased this runner for my bedroom hallway. It came well packaged without any damage. The texture of the rug is soft to the touch and is low pile as described. I did put a rug pad underneath because it does slide on my hardwood floor. The backing of the rug is a good quality, not scratchy, as can be seen with cheaper quality rugs. It vacuums easily with no issues as of now. I only wish it was available in a longer size because I feel I could have purchased a longer one considering the size of my hallway. Its width is perfect at 2’7”, unlike many others advertised at only 2’. It is a predominately light gray rug with an ivory, almost white, design.
