I purchased this rug a few months ago with a backstory. For context, I loved this rug upon seeing it online immediately, but had first seen it in the octagon shape. Eagerly, I had to have it without considering the octagon shape for my rectangular living room. Fast forward, the rugs.com team was able to quickly refund the octagon rug I sent back and quickly send over the new one I purchased in this shape and size. I'm a hesitant shopper and sites and shops that offer reliable return services make the process easier and more painless. I'm a testament, if you don't jive with your rug, they will refund you without hassle as long as you return within guidelines. The rug speaks for itself. Beyond the style, this rug is great for cat owners. There is practically no shedding after almost 5-6 months of owning, despite my cats efforts in scratching! It has a jute like base with colors woven in which helps with durability and allows for contrast against existing carpet. Due to the sturdy base of this particular rug it does take a little time for it to lay flat after unrolling. That's not a major issue though. Nothing a steamer, large vaccum or standard use can't undo. Perfect size for apartment living or standard living rooms.

My daughter purchased the same rug months ago and when I began looking she suggested this company and rug..I love it. Arrived fast and in great condition. I couldn't';t be happier.
