I was given this product as a sample to review it and I was highly unsatisfied with the outcome from using this body wash. First the scent is really overpowering and left a residue with the scent behind on my skin and so I was smelling the soap all day and also tasting it on my hands (this was the main reason why I would not use it any more because I have a 1 year old who licks and sucks on me from time to time and if I hated the taste of the soap then she also wouldn't enjoy it). My skin also really dried out after using this soap. I thought it might have been the time of year, so I went back to the body wash I usually use and no dry scaley skin. I normally prefer to use bar soap, but this Dove Body Wash might just make a convert out of me - it has a very mild, pleasant scent (almost like olive oil) and lathers well. The oil control worked well, too, and without making my skin too dry. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Let me just say, I have sensitive skin, I'm prone to break out in a rash if I change from my normal deodorant or the laundry detergent on my clothes. Having stated that, I also have an oily face, so reluctantly I tried Dove's men +Care Oil Control in a small spot on my face, with fingers crossed and in hopes that I would not break out in a rash ... But at the end of the day I had completely forgotten that I had used the product, until I saw the bottle sitting on my counter, this was a good sign, so I investigated the spot, and sure enough, after having neglected the spot all day, it was slightly less oily than the rest of my face! I have tried oil control for a few days now and I can say that I really like this product, I am visibly less oily at the end of the day using this. I would give it 5 stars, but it doesn't 100% work, I wish it would clear the oil all day. I have recommended this to a couple of co-workers and a relative.
