Summary of reviews
This oat milk has garnered mixed feedback from guests, with many appreciating its rich and creamy texture, making it suitable for lattes and smoothies. However, concerns about its consistency, sweetness, and spoilage have been raised. While some guests enjoy its flavor and lower sugar content, others find it too thick and gritty, leading to dissatisfaction. Overall, it may be a good option for those looking for a creamy alternative, but guests should be cautious about its texture and freshness.

I'm lactose sensitive so I avoid dairy when I can. I've been a Silk Soy drinker for over a decade and have relied on their consistency. I mostly use milk in my coffee and in random recipees. In any case, I like to branch out and try different brands. Over time, I know I prefer soy, pea, or oatmilk, espeically for my daily coffee. Soy/Pea tend to have the same consistency and thickness whereas Oatmilk acorss brands can very in thickness (i.e., more watery). Target's offering is not great. It's very watery and doesn't mix well in my coffee. I may try this in smoothies or oatmeal but in coffee, nope.

Spoiled and molded all over far before the expiration date only 2 weeks after opening. Disappointed.

This is a huge miss by Target/Good & Gather. As others have said, it's actually higher in sugar than other brands with the same calorie/fat content and its second ingredient is vegetable oil (what on earth??). And that's not even the worst of it. This oatmilk leaves a sediment in the bottom of your cup of coffee from it settling while you're drinking. Once I realized that this oatmilk was the culprit (and not the coffee, somehow) I filtered the oatmilk through a reusable coffee filter before adding it to my coffee. An alarming amount of sludge was filtered out. The sludge/sediment pictured here is from about 1/4 cup of oatmilk and I still had sediment in the bottom of my cup of coffee when I finished it. Absolutely gross and unacceptable. Target needs to go back to the drawing board with this one and those of us who enjoy oatmilk will be left paying more for other brands that are actual quality oatmilk.

I try to avoid extra sugars. I appreciate that this has less 'added sugars'. And it tastes fine in my coffee. I switched from 2% or whole milk to oatmilk a couple of years ago. And just now found this less sweet variety. YAY!! Though I'd like to know where those sugars are coming from since no sweetners are shown in the ingredients list.
Spoils way too quickly; other brands are better

Rated it 2 stars instead of one because the taste is good, but it only stayed fresh for 2-3 days after opening; well before the expiration date and the 7 days within opening it says on the carton. Never wasting my money and buying again!
Gritty and sugary

I’m not sure why this is called “less sweet” when I still has significantly more sugar per serving than other brands of oat milk. Also, every time I use it in my coffee there’s a bunch of gritty stuff at the bottom of the cup, and I know it’s from this oat milk because it doesn’t happen with other creamers. I don’t recommend.

Vegetable oil is the second ingredient…and it tastes like vegetable oil with a hint of oat. Now I have 56 ounces of product I’m going to have to trash because it tastes awful.

Even when you shake it up, it comes out chunky. I usually don’t return food items but I think I will today.

I don't usually write reviews but this was astonishing in the worst way. It would be fine if it was sold as yogurt, but it's not. One can only assume it's spoiled months before the expiration date.

I tried this one for the first time but never again! I thought I purchased a spoiled oatmilk since it was so thick! I checked the dates and it said it didn't expire until April!
I had to actually throw this away ):

disliked the flavor, aftertaste, and consistency. I very rarely throw perfectly good food away. I'm not a picky eater. I try to make good use of everything I have. I saw that this was less sweet and thought i would like it. I have never been so grossed out by an alt milk. I've had tons of milk types and brands, many many oat milks in particular. I've had target brands before. but this just had a very weird aftertaste, I couldn't place it at first but it's kind of bitter? afyer reading a review I agree that it's almost like a soapy taste. at first I thought it was just me adjusting to a new milk, but I kept trying for days and it just tasted bad. I tried all kinds of things with my coffee but it didn't help. I tried watering it down like some suggested but it still tasted weird and thick. I've had creamy oat milks before that I really enjoy, but this feels more like paste or something. I finally just bought a silk carton and had to dump what was left of this down the sink. I've never done that before with unexpired milk. I really don't recommend this especially with food prices right now, throwing away money sucks.

Still Has More Sugar - Always Read Nutrition Labels

This is a lesson in reading Nutrtion Labels. You would assume this Less Sweet version has less sugar than other milks but it actually still has more sugar per serving than most other regular oatmilks.
