Q: Can this be used without the headboard, if I have a different one that I prefer to put with the base frame?

Drawers are very shallow so you can not put much in them. The drawers are NOT on rollers, just wheels. It fits my 14 inch mattress. Love headboard!

These aren’t ‘drawers’, they look like drawers bar they just slide under the bed there are no tracks or anything to keep them in place. Shipping was a nightmare, had to order twice and ultimately returned.

Mixed feelings about this bed

Ok. So, first off: assembly. The description promises all hardware is provided. This is not true. You really need a power tool to put this bed together. A screwdriver just won't cut it. I wish that had been part of the description. I anticipated an IKEA-type bed, where everything you need for installation is included in the box. That is just not the case for this ModernLuxe bed, and luckily a neighbor had a power drill I could borrow, otherwise how would I have put this together?? (Spoiler alert: I would not have been able to.) Next, one of the supports for the headboard had holes drilled in completely wrong spots. I'm talking 6-12 inches off. Completely unworkable. Target Support was helpful in getting me a replacement part. ModernLuxe sent an entire other bed, which seems wasteful, but I did use lots of of the extra wooden slats to create more support for this bed. Otherwise, based on the quality of workmanship, I would not have trusted this bed. Also, so many of these reviews seem fake! They're copy/pasted from the description. What is going on?? Now that it's assembled, sure, it looks nice. But it was such a hassle. I'll go for an IKEA bed next time.

all the reviews below have to be scams. this bed is garbage. the drawers don't even have tracks to roll on...they are literally just pushed in...if the bed shifts at all, the drawers become misaligned and you have to roll them back in not to mention the top of the drawers are longer so they're too heavy, whenever you roll one out the weight of it pushes the drawer over and off rje wheel. fabric is not what it looks like, neither is pattern.

I feel like this was a good purchase, good value. The bed was easy to assemble by myself and seems pretty sturdy. despite its size and solidity, this piece comes with hardware and instructions included and anyone can assemble it, without a problem. I got the full size for my daughter's room. One of the reasons I chose this bed is because it's down to the ground, this way I won't have to keep fishing out toys and socks from under the bed every day. Lol

I love the color and the feel of this bed frame. it’s strong and well built.I like that it doesn’t have any exposed metal parts like a lot of the other cheaper ones in the price range. It’s not super tall but that’s okay with me. The “Plywood” feet are fine.

Really great bed, nice materials and the stitching is good. Very simple and easy to assemble. Seems sturdy and very nice for the price. I am very pleased . And great customer service when we ran into a small parts issue, fast response, professional and quickly resolved.

This frame is very sturdy and exactly as pictured. It wasn't exactly easy to assemble due to it's size and weight, though to be honest I think it was intended to be assembled with 2 people. If I had an extra set of hands it would've been significantly easier but I put it together alone (which is definitely possible, but you gotta be creative). Also the extra storage drawers underneath are a nice little added bonus. Definitely a great purchase for the price.

Like other reviews have mentioned, the drawers were a little difficult to put together. Other than that, the bed is great and a great price! The headboard is soft and cute, the bed is sturdy, and we love the added storage! Definitely recommend assembly with a partner.

Just got it so we ultimately have to wait to see about durability but I went through so much picking a bed I wanted to offer help to others. The storage is a nice size.we have a full it is the length of the bed and pretty good depth, perfect for my kid's (10)underwear, socks, loungewear. My husband who does home improvement/assembly said the assembly was a breeze and spoke very highly of the bed overall even recommending it for our grown daughter. My lil wanted to keep her box spring and mattress so it is high off of the floor and still has a good amount of the headboard showing.I definitely recommend.

We've had it for about 1 months now and it's still holding up super well. When it came, a couple of the metal drawer pieces were slightly bent, but it wasn't an issue at all. Overall, it was pretty easy to set up , pretty good quality for the price, and it fits everything we need to in the drawers!
