Help your flowers and plants rise to the occasion with the Ups-A-Daisy planter insert by Bloem! The round Ups-A-Daisy insert sets about 1/2 to 2/3s down into your container, raising the bottom of the container. This allows for proper drainage and essential oxygen to access plant roots which prevents root rot. The insert can be reused season after season for many years. Most annual plants have a short root base requiring only 6"-8" of soil to thrive, and if you give the roots too much room to roam, your plants may get long and leggy. With less soil, the roots will be confined forcing nutrients back into your plants where they belong, producing healthier plants with bigger blooms while saving you time and money in the process!

If you want to put those really big planter pots in your yard or home this is a must. Trying to lift a big planter that is totally full of wet soil is impossible. With this insert you don't need as much soil, the plants do fine and you can move the pot. The only disappointment as these larger sizes are not available in the store and have to be ordered.

I was so happy when I discovered these things! We have three very large flower pots that took an enormous amount of dirt to fill them and after they’re filled they weigh a ton. I was trying to figure out what we could do so we didn’t have to use so much dirt and I got online and found these. They’re great! We just used the first one yesterday and what a difference it made! I thought the 17” would work but we decided to order the 18” and I’m very glad we did because the 17” probably wouldn’t have worked as well for the pots we have. They’re well made, sturdy and simple to use. We decided to put a stone over each of the two bigger holes so the dirt wouldn’t leak threw although it probably wasn’t necessary. What a genius invention! Also Target had the best price for these and the 18” were hard to find! Perfect!

I have not had the chance to use these yet. I will next spring. I gave two to my daughter also. I have big heavy pots so I am hoping this helps greatly with the weight and also lessen the amount of soil we have to buy. Great idea!!!!
