A: Don't pay attention to the target employees, they don't know what they are talking about. No, it won't, because not all usb-c to usb-c cables are the same and this one does not support the charging protocols you need. Might technically work, but you're risking fire.

I like that there is a cheaper option than buying apple brand products, and the longer cables are nice as well. However, after several months of having the cable (and only light use), it just stopped working.

I bought this to replace the apple charger that came with my macbook. My mac takes a usb-c cord and I was happy to find something cheaper than what apple provides. However, due to the metal, this cord overheats EXTREMELY easily, I even burned myself because of how hot it gets. I began having issues charging my mac, leaving it overnight only for it to charge 40%. I thought it was my mac at first but after switching to my old cord I realized this was the issue. I do not reccomend this product at all.

I bought this 4 months ago. Just recently, withing a few seconds of being plugged into my phone, the USBC connector started getting hot enough to burn a little when I touched it. Something is going very wrong and I don't want to leave it plugged in long enough to find out what! Annoying because I was hoping this would be a more durable option and instead it seems like it'll start a fire if I leave it plugged in!

got this cord + one of their super fast charging blocks a few months ago. both items together cost roughly 40 something dollars. worked like a dream for ages, now I have my phone on the cord for an hour and it only moves up about 10%. no external fraying or bending, but the adapter overheats and now it barely works. a cord and block should not cost over 40 dollars if they're only going to last for three months. do not buy this charger.
