perfect lighter. we have given them to our families as gifts and they are a big hit.

This is a nice rechargeable lighter! So far, so good. Hoping this rechargeable lighter will replace having to buy disposable fluid filled lighters. The only con is that the hinged lid gets in the way if you want to light a candle in a jar since the lighter will not fit down inside the jar to light the wick.

I was looking for a new lighter for outdoor camping needs. I was tired of the old traditional lighters that were unreliable and also not wind proof. This lighter is work it, charges with USB. It’ll be the last lighter you ever buy!

I really like this lighter, and the rechargeable aspect is exactly what I was looking for. Didn’t want to keep buying new lighters with fuel in them when this is obviously so much more sustainable (for my wallet as well). However, I bought it to use primarily for lighting candles, and the lighter’s cap makes it pretty much impossible to maneuver into the jar. That’s why I knocked a star off. My solution was to simply snap the cap right off and just store the lighter in a small plastic container to prevent it from accidentally lighting/protect the nodes from touching other things in the drawer and becoming damaged. Easy solution, and would still recommend.

These are great! No more matches or butane lighters! Plus, you don't really need to use the paracord. They light paper very nicely.

Used this the first weekend we had it, not only did it work it was fun, and she stopped with my fellow campers.

Great, Useful item. Used on a backpacking hunt trip for a week. kept the charge the entire time.

I love this lighter! I hike a lot and have already tried it out. It's easy to use and I like the convenience of it being rechargeable...my only trepidation about it will be how long the charge will last if I'm using it a lot on while backpacking.

I didnt think this work. But, then I tried it. Very unique. Very tecky. So, you know I love it.

Pretty good lighter, I like the weather proof aspect, it's also nice that it doesn't emit the high pitched whine so many plasma lighters have

This fire starter is pretty amazing. I as able to start a fire in the rain.

I often camp in higher altitudes. Only used this once so far but it seems to work really well and simply. Easy to pack along.

Absolutely love this product, it's small, feels nice to hold and doesn't have the restraints of standard lighters or fire starters

This is a neat gadget! Been wanting one for camping and was excited to get it. Works well.

Not that I've used it for very many things, but I haven't had to recharge this yet at all. And my wife likes playing with lighters, so it's been crackling away. (She also burned herself, which is not a statement about the lighter's safety at all. She wanted to know what it felt like. She said it felt more like a shock than a burn, but I've never seen her jump like that before and I laughed pretty hard.)

I love camping and I love my campfires but for the love of god, enough with the fire starting gadgets. Maybe it is time to cancel my box.

I like the way it feels and works, but it is too heavy for backpacking. I intend to take it on my next rafting trip, but that won't be till Spring. It is much smaller that the larger lighter I have in my rafting boxes. Can't wait.

Awesome lighter that is plasma based and can be recharged. The lighter has a good security latch and is set up well with a lanyard.

This is awesome! I love the fact that you don't need to worry about fuel or factors such as a weather affecting the ability to light a fire. It's definitely handy and works well. I also like the fact that it's simple to recharge via USB. Definitely going to be a go to fire source for camping.

OMG! This thing is freaking amazing. It may be the best surprise I've gotten from Cairn yet! Taken it on a weekend, used in the hurricane, still charged.
