DOES NOT taste like vanilla. It actually tastes like cardboard. Stick with the regular version in the red carton.
Consistency Change

Consistency - 6 months ago, Verified purchaser
I’ve bought this product in the past before and have liked it and never had any issues with it. Over the summer I purchased this two separate times and both times the liquid thickening into almost a slurry consistency. It was really gross and the first time it happened I thought it was just a bad batch but the second one I bought two months later did the same thing in an even quicker time frame. This has never happened to any other oat milk I have bought before and everything else in the fridge was fine, even the regular milk. So I have no idea what happened but the crazy thickness and eventual chunks I saw turned me off buying this again. Both were maybe close to a week old when I dumped them due to the insane consistency change.
Dont purchase, better milk alternatives out there

Texture is thick like sauce and plops out of the carton. The taste is not like oat milk, more like cardboard. The amount remnants left in the mouth from a spoonful was hard to handle. Tried it on cereal, ate three bites and put it down the disposal. Within five minutes I could tell my stomach was bothering me agreeing with the oatmilk

I go to my target and go straight for this milk. It’s usually sold out too. I buy two at a time when I see it. I use it for my smoothies, coffee and matcha. I love it! I love the vanilla version but if it’s sold out, I get the regular, red box oat milk. Ill keep buying this!!
Weird Texture

The taste was OK, but the consistency was not. Almost looked congealed. My daughter drank a glass of it straight and the remains looked thick and gloppy. I poured it over cereal and it was so thick it was almost like a thinned out pudding. Again, the taste was fine, we just found the texture to be extremely offputting.
Sawdust residuals

Horrible taste, used in coffee and found it leaves sawdust texture residue. Oats are not blended properly and remain no matter how much you shake the container. Buy any other brand instead!
Hope you like oil.

Second ingredient is vegetable oil (up to 3 different types). Makes the taste and mouthfeel really weird. Will not buy again.

I ate a bowl of cereal with this and immediately got sick afterwards. It’s been almost 5 hours and my stomach is still burning. Regular milk doesn’t even do me this dirty
This should be recalled

I tried this for the first time the other day and wa so sick for hours the rest of the day and had no idea it was the milk that caused it. I had it again and was even sicker this time. I had severe stomach cramps and it would last for hours. I will be complaining and it should be taken off the shelves.

The flavor is good but the texture is not. It is so pulpy it’s gross. In the picture is all pulp and the bottom of my coffee cup. Worth the extra money for Silk or Oatly

I don't understand the bad reviews! This is the best milk I've ever had. The first oat milk I tried was silk and i never wanted to drink oat milk again. Gave chobani a shot, loved it, decided to try this because I love the good & gather brand and now we got through 3-4 cartons a week. It's also half the price of chobani & tastes way better.
Please pull from shelves

I tried this with matcha (switched up from my normal silk oat milk) and it tasted faintly like menthol cough drops, it had a metallic after taste, but the expiration date is a month away. These should probably be pulled from the shelves. Will have to dump the rest.

I go 10 miles out of my way to get this oatmilk (the vanilla, original, and less sweet versions). It's the only one that tastes neutral when I steam it for a latte. I've tried Califia, Oatly, Silk, and Chobani and thought they all had a metallic, cardboardy, or chemical taste. This one is perfect. It's also very thick and foams well in my Nespresso aeroccino. I've been drinking it for 2 years, and the taste has been consistent over time. And it's a great value.
Do not have it.

The taste it gave to my cereal was very off. I do not recommend this brand of Oatmilk. I would rather have Chobani.
