This projector is useless to me, unfortunately. You cannot play streaming services (Hulu, Netflix, Max, DisneyPlus, etc.) without a Roku or an Amazon Firestick, which I thought was fine. So I bought a Firestick but it's not compatible. Sooooo I have no use for this. I'm sad I wasted my money on it.

My partner and I purchased this and unfortunately will be returning it a day later. It does not allow you to stream apps such as Netflix (which is the reason we got it). It’s a hassle and expensive to get around this and ultimately not worth it. The picture also was not the best compared to the more pricey ones.

Do not recommend for playing on Switch, had to message customer service just to figure out how to even possibly connect it in the future. You will need to buy a HDMI adapter if you want to stream from your phone, though YouTube will be your only option of streaming since Disney+/Netflix will kick you out. Buying a Fire TV stick will allow you to stream anything on the projector though.

The buttons on the projector and remote do not respond at least half the time. Sometimes the light doesn’t turn on either. I might be able to live with the inconsistency if only it would connect to anything! It can’t read my USB drive, so I played the movie on my TV and connected it to the projector via HDMI and it says there’s no connection. Unfortunately I bought it well in advance to play a creepy movie for Halloween so I missed the return window and now I’m stuck with the worthless piece of garbage.

Please aim the remote at the IR receiver on the back of the projector. 2. The distance between the remote and the projector should be within 6-8 meters. 3. Reinstall or replace the battery in the remote. Regarding the USB drive, please follow these steps to troubleshoot. 1. Take out and reinsert the drive to make sure it's plugged in properly. 2. Select USB as the input source. 3. The upper limit for USB drives in storage capacity is 192G in FAT32 and FAT16 file format and 2TB in NTFS file format. Please follow the instructions in the manual to connect your device. If you want to mirror a mobile phone, you need to use an HDMI to USB-C/ lightning/ USB port adapter for your phone. And it's recommended to use an adapter that requires an additional power supply. While using the adapter for connection, the adapter itself also requires an additional power supply. Here are the detailed steps to connect your phone to the projector. 1. Turn on your mobile device and projector. 2. Prepare an HDMI adapter according to the port your phone has. 3. Connect the HDMI port of the cable to the projector. 4. Connect the other end with the port of your mobile device. 5. Select HDMI as the input source on the projector. Hope this could help you. I was blown away with how good the sound quality and picture quality was on this projector. I first purchased the YG3000 Pro and I returned that due to horrible picture quality and sound. This is a very affordable projector it does the job ! The fan is definitely very loud but can be manageable. Keep in mind that if you get this projector, you can mirror but can’t mirror any of your apps like HBO, Netflix , Hulu , peacock ect you have to connect it with a HDMI cable from laptop/iPad to projector or some other portable streaming devise like roku.
