This vinyl plays at 45rpm, NOT 30rpm. So yes, if you play it at 30, it will sound like a bargain basement version of the actual soundtrack. It is a beautiful LP and other than the small confusion at first, it plays beautifully

I have bought several versions of this soundtrack and every single one of them doesn’t sound like the cast I don’t know if they didn’t use the cast for the recording but it’s very weird that it’s all this one guy singing.

The album is not sung by the cast of the movie. It's all sung by one man and doesn't sound anything like the songs should, me and the kids were all very disappointed by this.

Honestly I haven’t even watched this movie yet. I just thought the vinyl was so cute so I went on Spotify, listened to two songs, and was like “yep.” All as an excuse to buy the record and I have no regrets. The little star guy spinning around the middle?! The splattered “starry” vinyl on this gorgeous blue?! And the booklet itself is ARTISTRY. You can’t tell in the photo but the inside is all holographic and beautiful, and the cover and sleeve are embossed. 10/10, now I just have to watch the movie..

I love the colors they picked for this vinyl and the little start in the center! The only issue I have is, I don’t know if this is just my vinyl or if this is how it should be played but I have to have it on speed 45 on my record player for it to sound normal, instead of speed 33 for all my other vinyl, or it will make everyone sound so deep and slow
