It’s very pretty with the zoetrope effect but the downside is that the vinyl is VERY static sounding.

I love this movie and to have a record the looks like it has moving characters even better. It's like getting a 2 for one

I got this for my daughter when she opened this the design on the vinyl was beautiful and at great price was worth buying.

Of the four zoetropes on the two LPs, only one of them actually works. Not sure if this is the case for all copies but certainly for mine. Disappointed, but it's still a fantastic soundtrack that sounds great on vinyl: that's why it gets two stars instead of one.

The vinyl is a great addition to your collection due to the zoetrope. Although I haven’t been able to figure out how to capture it on video yet even though I did the shutter speed correctly, I’m sure I’ll figure it out. The biggest problem I have is that target does not have packaging specifically for vinyl shipping. I’ve had 2 vinyls shipped now and the boxes are always either in bad condition or ridiculously big. This box was absolutely trashed which caused it to slightly damage the corner of a vinyl. And because most people are collecting vinyls and they plan to have it be in their collection for a long time, it’s important they are in good shape. Due to the fact that most people pay for shipping and vinyls are already expensive, I don’t think it would be much of a hassle or expense for target to buy packaging specifically made for shipment of vinyls. As you can see in the photos the box caused the vinyl corner to be bent.

It's amazing how poorly you people pack HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS worth of vinyl that I will be returning now. It's simply astonishing you aren't willing to spend $.60 on a record mailer. Oh well, good thing for returns! I wonder what happens to the Tens of Thousands of dollars of damaged records that this company churns out?

First, let me say that this review is for Target.com and not for the NBC Zoetrope Soundtrack. I was so excited to find this album on Target.com as it was sold out other places, and I wanted it for a gift. It wasn't available in store, so I had it shipped. For some reason, Target.com decided to throw this collectible item into a huge box with no support. The album sleeve is badly bent in multiple places, and I don't even want to guess what the condition of the vinyl is. I will be returning ASAP. You would think a huge retailer like Target would have actual vinyl record mailers if they are going to sell and ship vinyl records. I don't recommend purchasing any vinyl from Target.com - definitely buy in store if you have the option.

Love it! But it take a bit to get it right. Best Seen t the right angle, through a phone and with flash on. Wish I could post a video.

The record is dope and the pictures are cool but unable to see the images while it is playing. Still super cool though. The subtle crackle from a record is just so soothing.

Awesome pick up for the holidays. The zoetrope animation doesn’t really work. Confirmed the record is playing at the correct speed, but you don’t really see the animation, even when using the phone camera as suggested by the sticker. It might be my record player, either way it’s worth picking up for the soundtrack!
