I bought 3 of these twice because you cannot buy replacement liners like you can for other vegtrug products. If you want something to use for many years, this is not the product.
I would buy...

I love these planters despite the fact that they are very cumbersome to put together. I have several but the metal stands have rusted away. I wanted to just buy replacement stands but GSC don't sell them and said I have to buy the who planter :(
I would not buy this product again.

Even though the price is good, I would never buy another one. Too difficult to assemble and sketchy instructions. Made in China. Enough said.
Good quality, but difficult to assemble.

The instructions for assembly were very difficult to understand. The diagrams were very small and there were no written instructions. I would only recommend it to a friend who was very experienced in assembling things.
Liners should be sold separately.

To get another liner you have to buy the metal parts also.
The metal parts are reusable and you only need new liners
every two years.
Nice container. I'm planning to use for herbs!

I can't wait to see it filled with my herbs this Spring. I bought one for my daughter at Christmas time, too. I have to say that it wasn't any fun putting it together though, even with the instructions.
Great Product for Winter Gardening Inside.

I bought my first veg trug 4 or 5 years ago. It was easy to set up and has held up well. My plants love it. I bought another one this past summer & am going to buy 4 more for next summer. 💚

The planter was difficult to assemble. It took the better part of four hours to assemble two. I am very good at putting things together, but this was a challenge . It will definitely keep the rabbits out

Bought this as a gift for small apartment. Not much room on balcony. They love it and will be easy to move in winter.

I purchased 4 of these and, though it took several months for them to arrive due to Covid-19 and the temporary closure of the US VegTrug warehouse, they were well worth the wait. I did not find them difficult to assemble, though the instructions could be re-written to be more specific. I was able to assemble the first one in 20-30 minutes and the others increasingly more quickly. I am impressed with the capacity and pleased with how my pepper and tomato plants are growing in them!
Squirrels love it!

I had trouble putting the kit together, but once it was together, the frame seems sturdy. I bought this a year ago. My biggest problem is that squirrels truly thought it was for them...they loved the fabric as nesting material. They tore off pieces until the fabric was weak and unusable. If you don't have tiny bold squirrels, this might work for you. Also, once filled with soil, the planter is very heavy and difficult to move. Place it where it will sit for a long time.
Quality is not very good, after 5 months

Quality of product is poor. Rusted after 5 months and the green color has faded.

Although it was a little fussy trying to get it together I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is. The trick is to NOT tighten all the bolts and screws fully until you have it somewhat put together. But once you've got it done it's a beast. I have three cherry tomatoes and a few pansies in it and it's holding up wonderfully, even in some wind.

I got this assembled in under an hour, which wasn't too bad. The instructions are good in that they show a full view of each assembly step and a detailed view of the parts that need to be assembled. It helps to study the whole sequence before starting, but the instructions would greatly be improved if they were larger, like letter-sized or with just one drawing per page. The reason why this is only a 3-star product for me is the quality. Pretty much every one of the thin washers broke. And one of screws that holds the top crossbar to the leg went right through the outer hole to the inside of the leg. I was able to tighten it, but it's probably less stable. And the shorter side bar of the piece that supports the tub is just a tad too short, so when I tightened the screw, it pulled the nut out of the bar. The bar was effectively just laying on the end of the screw with plenty of wiggle room. I used three of the thin washers that had broken off other parts to create a spacer and now it's tight. Lastly, the tub is attached with three pieces of hook-and-loop fastener on the long sides and two pieces on the shorter sides. It would feel more secure if there were longer strips, especially if one of the strips gets ruined by soil or other debris. Overall, it looks cute, but feels flimsy. It would seem more appropriately priced at $15. I'm really glad I didn't order the tiered model. I definitely wouldn't trust this kind of contraption with more weight.
I love & would definitely buy this again

Easy way to care for flowers or veggies height is just right however with the strong storms and wind we've been getting lately, I anchored the legs because I was worried it would be top heavy and yes I already have recommended it to a friend

Love the convenience of this raised planter. I want to start a herb garden but I have arthritis and my ability to work at ground level is impossible. This planter is the right width and height for my needs. The availability of color is an added benefit. The planter looks great on my deck and my plants are thriving!
