It was easy to put together, battery charged fast and I was off in no time at all!! Getting used to it is taking me a bit, but it's going to be quick!! I love how fast it helps assist me and changes gears!! It's the best investment I've made for my health in a long time!! Thank you!!

I bought this for my wife and it was packed well in the shipping box. It was easy to put together in about 20 minutes with the provided tools. Bike looks sharp and is comfortable to ride. Prior to an e-bike we used to ride about 10 -15 miles. Now we typically go 20-30 miles without dreading any hills. She typically rides it in level 1 assist while casually pedaling along at about 15 mph and has most the battery left after the ride. I purchased the Velotric T1 ST for myself and also love it. I left a separate review for that bike. I recommend both bikes and would buy again.

I own a Velotric, bought it in July. The display broke and I can't get Velotric to replace it. They promise, no response. Warranty is no better than a promise not made good.

I’m enjoying being out riding my new bike. The color is perfect. Assembly wasnt a lot more complex than putting a regular bike together. Love it!

This is a great performance ebike and has everything you need, power, looks, speed etc. It helps me a bunch because i have lower back problems and so it's fun getting around! Also, if you use code REF60757, you get a good discount, so even more worth the price.

Great quality bike but HATE the cadence sensor. You truly don’t need to pedal even on level 1. And when you do pedal it shoots up to 14 mph with a 5 second delay. Wish I would have tried it locally - the bike shop even matches the sale price online. If you want a heavy duty scooter, this is the bike for you!
so far so good

I'm very happy with the E-bike I got. I use it to go to college and it's been doing the job well. Charging it every 2 days and the college is about 8-9 mi away. I probably could get away with every 3 days, but just incase, I do 2. I got a lot of add-ons which I liked. The 5 different assist levels was really nice, though for smart use of the battery, I'd only use 1 or 2, 3 if it's very hilly, but I never needed more than that. To those on the fence that see this, if you're looking for a pretty easy to build, constant 10-15 mph bike, at a good price, this might be good for you!
Best thing I ever bought!!!

I bought this bike because I was getting too winded while riding my Walmart bike that I got to get back in shapeI was hoping for just a lil extra push on the hills so that I can continue my endurance rides and I wanted to start commuting to workI was definitely surprised once I got the bike. I was able to put it together super easily and hit the road and I learned that I actually just keep it on a level one assistance at all times and I still end up burning about 900 to 1000 cal a day And I can use the motor to help me commute to work if I’m too tired to exercise . Luckily there’s a lot of bike lanes and bike trails in Boulder, Colorado. But I would definitely suggest getting a suspension post and some padded shorts if you’re going to be doing endurance rides.I was able to lose almost 30 pounds without even noticing it just fell off and as a woman in her 30s just trying to get back in shape that was very valuable to me. Would definitely recommend definitely getting my next bike from this company.

I purchased 2 Discovery 1 Plus bikes for my wife and I. After assembling the first one I thought I’d try it out around the block. 12 MILES LATER I couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed it!!! Hills are no problem. I’m 68 years old and riding a bike is fun again like it used to be when I was a kid and rode my bike everywhere. Thanks Velotric for a great affordable product

This bike is so much fun to ride and so comfortable. My husband bought the discover 1 plus first , I had a different brand which was not comfortable for me at all and I tried my husbands and loved it so we bought one for me and I can’t say enough about it. We are having a blast riding them on the bike trails on the canal in our area . I love the big screen and the light on the bike. It’s a fantastic bike especially for the price.

So I have the discover 1 and I would not hesitate getting it again. It rides like a normal bike, but when you want some assistance pedaling up an incline or hill, this does all the work for you! I love that. I always felt guilty riding my bike for a couple of hours and not be able to take my dogs d/t the additional weight going up hills and now, I have no worries. They come with and I couldn’t be happier. Life for me has been better because of this bike. I’ve looked at my friend’s e-bikes and they were good in one area but that’s about it. This has all the boxes checked in my book.

We love our Velotric so much we named her. She's solid and stable, while being zippy and fun. Our biggest problem is that we only have one (so far). My 6'3 husband, 5'7 daughter and 5'3 me often compete to get to ride her to work/school each day (so far the daughter is winning).

I bought it because Consumer Reports rated it highest among 6 budget E-bikes it recommended. I chose the step-through model because age makes it more difficult for me to swing my leg over the seat of a standard 26" bike. The step-through design also makes stopping & starting easier. I use pedal assist mostly for hills, & level 1 suffices to get me up steep hills. It does take getting used to the sudden burst of speed. After 95 miles of riding, the battery level icon still shows full. There have been problems. The pedal assist controller was missing the screw that holds it in place. I am expecting a replacement controller today. After about 30 miles of riding, the left pedal came off while I was riding! I had carefully watched your assembly video & made sure to match the pedal marked R with the part marked R & the pedal marked L with the part marked L. I screwed the R pedal on clockwise & the L pedal on counterclockwise. The pedals did not screw on easily, & I did not want to use too much force. Still, pedaling should have tightened the connection, if anything. I screwed it back on as tightly as I could, but the threads do not mesh easily. After 95 miles of riding, the right pedal became wobbly. I had to remove it & screw it back with as much force as I could muster. Some of the receptor threads were stripped because two parts don't mesh very well. I just hope that the pedals stay on. I rode my old bike for 35 years without a pedal every coming off.
