You really can’t use the stool for anything beyond a foot rest. But as a foot rest it’s too low from a couch or chair so you kind can use it to prop your foot on when putting on shoes? Idk I just use it for the storage in the hallway to the linen so I’m fine with it

I bought two of these thinking I would use at the end of my bed, however these are just so gorgeous, I wanted them displayed in my living room for everyone to see. They are sturdy, the color is beautiful, the velvety top is so super soft, and I love that I can hide a few things in them. I wish I could rate these higher.

If someone pitched a design idea to include an upholstered chest that doubles as a vanity stool to me, I’d think they’d need to reconsider their life. Yet somehow it works and it’s downright adorable! I use the storage function for my excess candles. It’s definitely a statement piece!
