These used to be amazing. But Gillette seems to have changed the design (there are small silver lines on either side of the blades) and now they are useless. Gillette needs to bring back the original design. And NO, we don't want the bulky refills (Extra Smooth, etc.) that are difficult to use and get slimy.

I never had any issues with shaving before and then I buy these refills. I can see the hair on my legs - I go to shave my leg and do multiple swipes, but there is no hair in the razor at all. Doesn't shave anything.

I've been using these blades for years. I liked them because they were the smallest and most minimal of the Venus line (slightly less plastic), and they worked great. I recently reordered some and noticed the blade design slightly changed (there's a little metal strip on either side holding in the blades). I wouldn't care about that, except these new ones don't feel as smooth. I got terrible razor burn even though I didn't do anything else different. I used to recommend these, but not if they're going to be like this new design from now on.

I’ve used these on and off for the past couple of decades, recently purchased to save to money from the smooth 5 blade cartridges. I’m so disappointed— not as I remember. They leave me with razor burn with every shave and sometimes cuts. So bad that I need to stop using!

This razor delivered, much like its other ones. This is a three blade razor which I found to be very efficient due to its sharpness and ease of grip. The way they created the razor made it super comfortable to hold and maneuver. It’s soft and feels luxurious. I usually use a five blade razor but found this to be just as good. I didn’t end up cutting myself which is always a huge part of how I choose razors. Ultimately this is an amazing razor that provides a close smooth shave without nicks or cuts. Price point is very reasonable and definitely worth the quality.

Gillette Venus Smooth Original is my favorite razor for many years! I love it so much! Although marketed to women I use it unisex. The product quality is good and the result is a super smooth clean-shaven skin with no irritation. I like the reusable handle to reduce waste.

Its sharpness lasted throughout the trip and even made it back home, tackling all a razor would need to tackle for a hair free 2 weeks at the beach! Love this brand and this razor and will continue to buy them long into the future! The amount of time they last without getting gross or rusty or dull supersedes cheap throw away brands 10 fold…making them well worth the money! Love love love!
