This review is part of a free sample program. My dog is a senior large breed and would fool you by how much she sleeps on the couch, a seeker of comfort. She's a working/guard breed, surrendered at 3 months and remained in a shelter until we adopted her at 10 months (except for 2 weeks at Christmas and was then sent right back). Early removal, lack of socialization, a concrete floor with lots of stranger dogs, really did a number on probably already underlying anxiety. A familiar family life and environmental factors helped but she remained very tightly wound. Professional training and gaba did nothing. Excited to try this supplement and see if we can help her further with more natural ingredients. Maybe even more importantly, she will eat these apparently very yummy "treats"! She is very un-food-motivated. Think cat; it can be very hard to get her to take any sort of things like this.

This seems to work well for my senior dog who is getting more and more anxious about being left at home. She doesn't like the flavor so I've taken a small piece of one of the pinchers, squished it flat, and stuck it to each of these, and she happily eats it. It's definitely soft enough for her to chew, and my young dog will steal them from her any chance she gets, so it's just something about the flavor she doesn't want.

I split the chews between both my dogs and the older one she seemed to like them and shes more of a mellow girl so it was harder to tell if they worked for her, the sheltie i hadnt noticed a real change in her zoomies or barking or just in general a calming demeanor from her. I would consider trying them for a longer period of time again. And with the sheltie.

She's extremely high energy, so it's hard to tell if they are really making a big impact. I'm looking forward to continuing the dose and see her progress once the bag is done!

He's pretty chill as far as JRTs go, but this supplement has helped immensely in adding that additional calm to his daily life in dealing with a bunch of border collies.

We can't always take our girl with us when we go out. She get so anxious and we feel bad for her. We tried the calm & confident while we were in the house and then before we left for a while. Within about 35 minutes, the nervous 'edge' seemed to dissipate, not like a heavy drug situation, just light calming. What a GIFT for her to be able to relax! We'll definitely keep this around!

This review is part of a free sample program. Our dog has always suffered from anxiety. Now that she has gotten older it seems to have gotten worse and affects her on a daily basis. After giving her the Golden Years Calm and Confident I noticed a drastic improvement in her behavior. We had guests staying over at our house and usually she would be an anxious mess, but she seemed much more calm and reserved. She also seems much less anxious when we leave for work now!

This review is part of a free sample program. I've been a fan of VetriSCIENCE ever since my Vet recommended it. When I got a sample of their new "Golden Years" products for senior dogs I jumped at the chance to try it. My pug is 12 years old and had begun experiencing anxiety at night. She would wake up not knowing where she was (even though she sleeps in my bed) and I had to hug and soothe her until she got back to sleep. Since "Calm and Confident" the change has been -incredible. She gets a chew at bedtime and sleeps through the night. No anxiety. No walking up and down the bed in confusion. Best of all she wakes up in the morning refreshed and ready to go. (Me, too!)

I was looking for something to help him level out during the day without making him want to nap all day. Enter Calm & Confident! My 12 yo senior dog had been having increased symptoms of mental decline with anxiety and confusion, particularly in the evening or during the overnights. Have been using a combination of Calm & Confident, Energize & Thrive, and Composure and he has not had further incidents of stress during the night and has been sleeping comfortably. I know that his aging process will continue but feel this combination will continue to help with his comfort.

My dog was recently diagnosed with cancer. On top of that, she has a lot of stress due to vet visits and some sound sensitivity. This supplement is a great additional tool to help support her while we work on getting her better.
