Color fades in sun, not UV stable

We've used these for years in outdoor holiday planters. While they're noted as being UV resistant, we've noticed the red color definitely fades and changes to more of an orange color in the sun. For the price of these, I'd expect the color to hold up more than one season but it hasn't. Otherwise love the look of them!
