I have a real estate brokerage with my husband in a luxury market and many of our builders use these light fixtures. I am not the "glammest" of gals but this can be dressed up or down. If you think it's obnoxious it really is not in person. I am using in my newly painted bedroom, going for an art deco / mid century modern eclectic look. Photos were taken at night with no other light source at both lowest & highest dimness. I highly recommend Lamps Plus bc their shipping and return policy is no hassle. And I leave such lengthy review bc I OBSESSED over them before picking all new lighting for my personal home.
