It's really solid and locking it is simple. However, the side handles aren't of the best quality. I use it as a prize bin at school, and one of the side handles broke.

This is sturdy enough for us to use as an everyday toy chest for smaller items, and it looks good enough that we don't have to hide it in a closet or under a bed.
