Our PVC Chair Mats have been tested to withstand weights up to 180 pounds, which includes both the weight of the chair and user. Based on the weight you have provided us with, we would recommend our Floortex Megamat. The Megamat has been tested to withstand weights up to 500 pounds, which includes both the weight of the chair and user. The Megamat is made from polycarbonate, which is a strong and durable material, due to the thickness/heaviness of this mat; this mat is shipped flat and can be used on both carpet and hard floor! Please note that this mat is not lipped as the Megamat comes rectangular shaped only. You can find this mat on Target using the product number (46” x 53” – 53321067) (46” x 60” – 53321068). After receiving the package, I realized that the mat was rolled up in the box. For two weeks I've put bricks on it, plywood, and other heavy items to get the "roll-up" kinks out and it still won't lay flat. This item is junk and I will suggest that no one buy this...a waste of money! It's going in the trash. $38 in the toilet.

We are very sorry to hear of your negative experience with this product, we recommend leaving the mat in a warm environment for up to 72 hours and placing heavy objects on the corners of the mat. Following the unrolling advice, the PVC material should have unrolled fully so we sincerely apologise if this was not the case. No mention of phthalate free with product

This smelled as toxic as my previous chair mat and there was no mention at all that this mat was phthalate free, not even really a brand name mentioned at all with the product. I could have received any mat, who would know? It smelled toxic as most chair mats do, however it flattened out pretty quickly so I gave it 4 stars for that. Chairs rolls over it without issue. Minus one star for no branding or information with the product

It says good for carpet, but it’s so thin when you sit in one place as one does for work, your wheels create divots in the plastic and your chair won’t move. Because it has nubs for carpet it won’t work on hard floor so essentially this is junk unless you weigh less than 50 pounds.

PVC is a naturally softer and flexible material, which has been tested to withstand weights up to 180 pounds – this includes both the weight of the user and office chair. As your wheels are creating divots in the plastic, which is stopping your chair from moving, we would recommend re-measuring your carpet to ensure that this mat is suitable for your carpet- this mat can be used on carpets that are up to ¼” thick.
