Please change the recipe back. The new and improved taste like other vegan cheese that is not good. My son and I loved your other slices. PLEASE!!!!. The slices were sooo good before

I’ve been buying this cheese for 4 years now, tried many plant based cheeses and this is the best of the best. Tastes amazing and most importantly it melts!!!

This is a delicious non-dairy cheese. I have not tried to melt it because I've just been eating the slices cold, but I know it melts because i have read the reviews, and the reviews are excellent. Love the product - look forward to making grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches with fresh basil and sprouts!

I Tried it in a grilled cheese sandwich. I had to remove the slices and eat the bread by itself. The lack of protein made it not worth the effort of stomaching down.

I got a bock of these slices to try out, but I was greatly disappointed. The texture cold is very weird, but after heating it gets worse. The smell is very much like real cheddar, but the taste is very different. The slices have a vague taste that I cannot really place nor enjoy, but what puts me off the most is the texture and the performance. Cold, the slices are mostly oily. Warm, they get very jiggly. They won't melt very good and mostly just become super slippery. I tried making sandwiches with them, but everything just slid apart. The only way to work around that was by inverting the sandwiches and pressing very hard all the way. On an assembled sandwich or hamburger you also do not really taste the slices, but I think that might be a good thing. However, it does not really add anything then either.

I love the way it melts, I love the way it tastes, I love the fact it does not have vitamin K one potassium in it. As I am on Coumadin, a blood thinner and I’m trying to be vegan this cheese fits that need.

I’ve bought the just like cheddar slices many times and always loved them. Recently, I opened a package and noticed that it said “new and improved” on the packaging. The new version is not good. The texture is still perfect, but the flavor is completely different and no longer tastes like cheddar. Please go back to the old recipe. I have a package of just like mature cheddar in the fridge now and am a little nervous to try! This used to be so good - please go back to how it was!

This used to be my all-time, favorite brand - now the cheddar shreds tastes like detergent! What happened?! It tastes so bad now, it’s inedible. Please, if you have a good thing, just leave it alone. I’m so disappointed and will not be buying again. Groceries are way too expensive now to ruin with this new formulated product.

We love this vegan cheese. It has a great taste and melts really well. Definitely worth trying!

I have purchased this once but will buy again. Only thing I couldn’t get it to melt for me on my plant based burger .

Kids literally spit it out now and used to beg for this cheese. Smells, tastes and melts terrible.

The sliced cheddar recipe was changed and now it smells & tastes weird! The recipe prior was perfect & I’d be able to eat it as is. When I tried the new recipe, I thought the store didn’t store it properly and so it tasted and smelled spoiled. It even felt different. Bought it again and it was the same, so I read that it was changed. No need to fix something if it’s not broken. Why not just offer multiple options without certain ingredients to cater to a wider range of consumers instead of displeasing the ones you already have?

I have loved eating this vegan cheese for years and used to eat it every day. it was the perfect snack with crackers. But, sometime in the spring of 2024, the flavor changed! It tastes like rotten cheddar cheese now. I opened the package last month and my boyfriend thought something went bad in the fridge. Change the formula flavor back! 😢

I thought I had bought real cheddar cheese. Only after it had melted on my quiche did I see on the package no dairy. I was really amazed with how creamy and tasty it was!

Tastes better than other fake cheeses but high in sodium.

This used to be my favorite dairy free cheese. The “Just like cheddar” slices were even better than the regular “American slices” made with dairy milk. Among all the vegan cheese alternatives I tried ever since my gastroenterologist recommended I drop dairy altogether, this was the only one that was perfect in every way. Sure it took a bit long to melt the cheese, but once melted the taste was delicious and the texture was perfect. I also liked it cold from the fridge in my sandwiches. Now it tastes awful and it has a weird sort of grainy texture when cold that reminds me of Daiya cheese (the vegan cheese I like the least out of all the alternatives I’ve tried). Why did you change a product that was absolutely perfect? It was so unnecessary… Unless Violife returns to the previous recipe, I won’t be buying this product again. Breaks my heart because it truly was the best in the market. Now I have to go on the hunt for a good vegan cheese again. Or just learn to make my own.

The old recipe was amazing. The new one is terrible. My allergy son loved this and sadly we no longer purchase due to the new formula. This used to be the best vegan cheese around.

Real cheese can sit in the fridge for a few months, and if it still looks good, it is. with this, having a slice from a package whose date was four months, bad, from which i'd eaten a slice some weeks ago without incident, appeared to make me fairly ill overnight. The remaining slices showed no sign of spoilage. Perhaps this spoils in a way that real cheese does not. If there was a warning on the package, it was on the cardboard part that gets tossed on opening, not on the plastic that stays with the slices.

I bought that cheese, before you made the change, hate what you did to it. won't try it! the old way you made it, best cheese ever, husband has a lot of issues with food, that one worked out for his needs, very disappointed in the change, always looked forward Wednesday grilled Cheese, for the noon and evening meal. 16-18 SLICES OF CHEESE
