Visine Red Eye Hydrating Comfort Redness Relief Lubricating Eye Drops get the red out fast and work in 30 seconds. I have been using Visine for a long time with no issues. But this latest buy, Visine red eye hydrating comfort, actually does the opposite of what it is advertising. In my case, red stringy lines appear and are prominent in my eyes, they sting and create a sandpaper like feel when I add the drops, and there is blurriness. What happened to you, Visine? Purchased at Target, South Plainfield, NJ

I think it's 1 of the best for sensitive eyes like mine but there probably are some better ones out there just haven't gotten to look around much

These work pretty well for minor stuff but for more severe red eye or allergies they don’t help very much besides a quick relief.

It started out well because my eyes didn't burn as soon as the drop went into my eye. However, a few seconds later, my eyes started to burn and feel itchy. The problem could very well be my eyes and not the eyedrops, but Pataday is still the only eyedrops that don't leave my eyes burning.

I wish I could give these drops negative starts. They claim to take the redness away but it has a rebound effect & the redness comes back. They are cheap & that’s why everyone buys them but they are not good or healthy. There are better drops over the counter.

Bought this product because the store was out of Gen Teal and Lumify, which are great products! was going out to dinner and I had a little bit of red lines in the whites of my eyes. At first the Visine product felt soothing but within seconds I couldn't believe what this product did to my eyes. The whites of my eyes looked a dull pink and there were red lines everywhere. My son's noticed the extreme redness right away. It took me 10 minutes of rinsing my eyes out with cool water and half an hour to calm them down to how they were before the Visine.

I don’t use drops in my eyes much, I don’t wear glasses. But every so often my allergies or makeup will make my eyes red and irritated. Bought these for irritated eyes and had to toss. They didn’t relieve any irritation in fact irritated more. Followed up with my optometrist and she said she cannot recommend any visine products or anything that says it clears redness. Stay away from vasoconstrictors
