i would stick to handwashing this item but seeing as you're only ever sticking it on a wine top just rinsing is probably fine. very classy and does what it needs to.

Not too long ago we bought a Viski gunmetal cork screw at a local store. It worked so much better than anything I’d previously used that I bought a few more from your website as gifts. Then our inexpensive plastic stopper broke so I ordered two from your website assuming they’d be of the same superior quality. Well, one, at least, has proven not to be although it is easy to pull the rubber out of the neck after it’s left behind. We live in wine country and our primary source of wine by the case is changing over to screw top. We really don’t need a replacement. I just wanted to let you know.

I've searched for a good bottle stopper for YEARS and I'm so impressed with this one! I really love the color (a dark gun metal grey). It looks very high end when in use and goes well with all bottle colors. It is solid and heavy duty in hand. The stopper portion is silicone so you don't have to worry about corrosion and flakes of material getting into your wine that constantly occurs with zinc alloy bottle stoppers. Fully functional and beautiful. Very pleased. Very well priced. I couldn't be more impressed. A++++++!
