For over a year I was taking Mary Ruth's Liquid Morning Multi Vitamin + Hair Growth with Lustriva, with no really major changes. I random saw the Hair Complex and decided to give it a try and even just within 3 months, I've seen an impact to my hair growth and the volume. I also was a little worried I would taste the powder, but I can't. I often put it in my coffee, or put it in my protein shake. I highly recommend trying this product!

The ingredients seemed standard for this kind of product but I wonder if I didn't use it enough to see a big change. The powder was too thick for my liking and had an odd smell & taste. I am also highly sensitive to these things, so please keep that in mind. I only ever tried it mixed in with coffee. I am not sure I would recommend this product.

I just bought this product and added it to my morning hot lemon water and I'm so sorry to say but the smell is awful, absolutely revolting. I was excited to try and I want to use the product but the smell is horrible. Be aware.

So - I switched to this from the marine collagen, because whatever the reason I originally had for that, it kept my hair from shedding - something I realized when I quit taking it. So when I saw this, I figured - better to just switch to this. I won't stop taking it just to realize it does work - because I imagine it does based on me not finding extra hair in the shower recently - hah. I can't say it's magical - but it's helpful, so for now, it stays in my routine. Vital Proteins: it's incredibly annoying to not be able to find one sincere review of your product - zero reviews is better than stupid paid-for reviews. Scrolling through that actually made me consider canceling my subscription - it inspires zero confidence in your brand.

Just purchased this yesterday to try and get some much needed vitamins into my diet, specifically for my hair. I have been on Weight loss journey for almost a year now, and although i have lost 55 pounds, my hair and skin have suffered. I woke this morning excited to start this into my daily routine only to find the "tasteless" powder taste awful (like cat pee smells is the only way to describe it). I could not finish it and had to dump it out as it made me throw up a little in my mouth. I did mix it in water, so tomorrow i will try it in Juice of some sort. I hope it is more manageable, otherwise i wasted my money.

It’s definitely softer and a bit shinier, but I haven’t seen a huge difference in terms of hair growth or volume yet. The formula is easy to take and doesn’t have an unpleasant taste, which is a plus! I’ll continue using it and see if the results improve with more time. Overall, good but not life-changing—still hopeful for longer-term benefits.

Each individual can have a different baseline (starting point), and collagen needs are based on a number of variables such as height, weight, age, etc. Collagen levels in the body may be optimal after supplementing for a period of time.
