Vivitar 360 Skyview GPS Video Drone with built-in 360 degree Aerial View Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drone was AWESOME. Very easy to fly, once you learn. It did take a few tries to get the hang of it, but once you know its super easy. I love that it came mostly assembled and ready to take off. This drone was durable, well made, and stunningly designed. I was eager with how long it stayed charged, as well as the distance it would fly. Easy to connect to my phone and operate as well. LOVE IT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drone was pretty simple to put together and the very direct messaging about calibrating before use was helpful. The instructions were otherwise pretty unhelpful but I was able to turn to trusty YouTube for some assistance. After a quick crash course in operating I was able to get the basic hang of it. The camera and controls aren't quite as robust as I hoped but it's sufficient for my beginner level needs. I am waiting for the weather to cooperate to be able to try additional features.

I heavily recommend reading the manual thoroughly before even attempting to turn on and fly the drone. It comes with specific instructions on how to calibrate the drone prior to first take off. I love how it comes with extra propellers because you can easily lose control and damage then. I love the video/picture quality and once you get the hang of it, it is easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Vivitar GPS drone to test. The drone was easy to set up. It was pretty much completely assembled already, I just need to add the protective part to protect the propellers. It was also easy to calibrate the remote to the drone. Its pretty cool. Unfortunately, I’m not the best pilot, so I did crash a couple of times. Good thing this drone is pretty sturdy because it did not break. The propeller protector did come off when it crashed but it was easy to pop it back in. It makes me nervous to fly the drone because I don’t want to crash again or hit stuff. Overall, this is a pretty sturdy drone to give to someone as a gift.

The controls once you're airborne are intuitive and smooth, but the pairing process leaves a lot to be desired. Additionally, the battery life compared to the charge time is disproportionate. It's a good starter drone, but a better app and battery would probably bring this up to 4 or 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying, I never flew a drone before. The instructions looked intimidating, but I was able to figure it out. My first try I smacked it into a wall. This thing can take some hits, so that was good for me. When I took it outside to fly it high, I had some issues with the co trips due to wind. It is very light. The camera and video on this drone were pretty good and impressive. The app had a few kinks. All in all it was a very fun toy. It would be a great gift for a late teenager or someone who loves techy toys.

I really liked that this drone controller has automatic take off and precision landing controls. Has GPS navigation that you can control through the use of an Android and Apple friendly application. Also provides real time live feed which is awesome. I give this drone a 10 out of 10!

The range, the quality and The overall ease of use is great for my as a beginner. The drone was not too pricey and really does a great job with aerial photos. Definitely will recommend to friends.

The pieces are quality made and it is made to last. I could see this even being a part of someone’s photography / video business. You can get some great shots with this drone. Fully loaded with WiFi and GPS features. There are endless possibilities and hours of enjoyment to be had. Guests will also enjoying giving this drone a spin. It is beyond user friendly. This would make an amazing gift. I love they it gets the kids outside! They can spend a couple hours out flying drones. My family loves it and it’s helps us spend quality time together, which is always a good thing. I’ve never flown a drone and even I could do it. Don’t forget to register your drone when it’s applicable to your local laws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very fun toy. My son loved it. Putting it together wasn't hard, but the set up before the first flight was a little difficult. It flew decent as long as there's not a lot of wind.

Its easy to operate and goes very fast. It took me awhile to get used to it but once you get it, its so awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Manual could used some editing. Numerous typos and the installation of protection ring section was actually how to install the propellers. No section on how to change propellers but was able to figure it out. Tutorial QR codes do not actually open anything. Drone comes with USB charger but the brick to plug it into an outlet is not included. Could never get it to do compass calibration. Overall it flies okay and is easy to maneuver. Pictures are an adequate quality. Wish there was more than 10 minute run time.
