Cons: As soon as I took it out of the box I noticed a spot on the cord of exposed wire. The tripod is very flimsy. Pros: inexpensive, USB, adjustable ring & option of soft or bright light.

Unfortunately the USB is a little bit flimsy and it did come off in my computer. It came off after its first use. I can still use it by pushing the port back in, but it just pops right back out.

It took me a minute to realize how to turn it on with a small switch that is attached. I like how you can adjust the tone and level of brightness too. It is good that you can move it around with the ball head. I could bend it down to have a better angle for a mobile check deposit. This will save me time for when I usually do a deposit, I turn on a few lights and try to angle the lights to see my check. Sometimes my bank will have me redo it if it's too dark and it will be easier to do now with this light. I can also use it for work with zoom meetings, sometimes I connect on with audio, but I think it will put me in a better light and I will use the camera more now. I'm excited to use this ring light for different things. It is convenient to plug in a usb outlet. I could easily store it and bring it out and is simple to operate. I sometimes move around while talking on my headset and it doesn't take up much space on the desk.

I love how there is different settings on it, too. Using this light really elevated the photos of my cakes and other food items. I'll never take another product photo without it!
