Q: i'm curious why this can't be used on neck, shoulders, back or hips for pain. i bought it for that, but it says on the box that it can't be used on these areas. i'll have to return it.

A: A few months ago my daughter saw her PCP because of neck pain. Her doctor said it was okay to use it on the neck. Just don't use it too much.

Q: I have used this for ten years and six months exactly. I was in high speed crash caused by street racers. I started using it in 2013. I broke my neck and both shoulders. Horrific. But I can lie detector test to prove how much it helps.

Q: this is an nsaid. i am not supposed to take nsaids orrally such as advil motrin etc.... since this is a topical is it okay or not?? like an nsaid is an nsaid is an nsaid period?? Don;t know what to do

A: I have the same issue. My rheumatologist told me only a tiny amount is absorbed and makes it to the stomach, so I am going to try it and see how I do.

My knees don’t ache or hurt as much as before! The only scent I guess you could call it is sorta like a medicine smell if that makes sense. I like that the measurement stick is included to help with the dosage on different areas.

The scent is very strongly medicinal/menthol, as I’d expect from any voltaren product! Classic packaging, easy to use and no leaks. She was concerned that this gel is toxic for dogs if they lick it so that is definitely something to keep in mind!
