VTech Baby 7-in-1 Senses & Stages Developmental Gym

I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but I remember spending hours trying to decide what baby items to put on my registry. If you’re similarly struggling, just do it! My baby is 10 months and has played with some portion of this play gym almost every day. It was perfect for tummy time when he was a newborn and now he loves the balls. The keyboard has been a consistent hit. Probably one of the best baby items we have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a developmental gym that grows with your baby. From first stage play gym with entertaining, dangling toys to a ball pit for older infants. My son loves batting around the balls and tries his best to chew them. Great stages toy for those with small spaces. It eliminated the need to purchase multiple developmental toys. Easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start by saying this play gym is such a thoughtful design for babies! The dangling attachments are great for babies to bat at and start to reach for when they're still laying on their backs, and the piano offers great musical distraction. I love the idea that this transitions to a mini ball pit, and my first (very low key, stationary) baby would have loved it! My current infant, however, started moving as soon as he possibly could and he absolutely will not be contained, so this stage is a bit lost on him. So I do want to note that the length of use will depend on what type of baby you end up with. Since you can't know, though, I think this is absolutely a great product for any new baby to grow up with!

He is only 2 months so we are only on the second stage right now but hes getting more active every day. This gym has 7 different steps so it will literally grow with your baby from birth to past a year old. We cant wait to get the the ball pit step. There's even a cute little sloth that holds stuff to make for easy storage of the toys that come with this. It has multiple different toys to put on it so that your baby can watch and learn how to reach for items. This is by far the best play mat I have ever owned.

Allows some tummy time with balls to move and feel. Boy oh boy these mats have come so far along. Sure to gives hours upon hours of growing and fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this play mat My newborn really pays attention to the colors started to play with the xylophone with his feet and playing with the other toys while they are not hanging when hanging he looks at them . The mat is nice and comfortable we are glad the pillow is washable since sometimes he gets milk in it . We can't wait till he sits to use the ball pan option . Great soft material and was easy to build and seems to be good for different months as he develops

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play mat is the best thing I have ever had. So I have one infant and one toddler with very little age difference. They both love this play mat. My younger one has fun tummy time on it while my toddler loves to play music on that cute xylophone. I also liked that it grows with age. I can convert it into ball pit and good thing is they also gave some balls in the box. Those cute little extra also helps improve my baby’s sensory perception. I am gifting one to my sister as she’s expecting too. And I would recommend it as it’s all in one.

The brightly covered playmat can be used for tummy time or turned into a ball pit for older babies once they're able to sit unsupported. I have a seventh month old and he no longer stays in the ball pit. The musical keyboard is his favorite now that we can take it with us on the go. I do feel my little one will outgrow this pretty fast. The playmat itself is pretty big but the ball pit is pretty small not enough space to move around. The hanging toys are prefect if your little one is teething.

My baby loves playing with the ball pit with the arches still attached. The sloth ball holder can easily be attached to the sides which I love because it makes it easy to keep up with all the balls. My baby loves the mirror attachment and the keyboard the most. It’s like my child discovers something new each time they play with this gym. The mat could be a little more padded to help if a baby falls over but I just put this mat on top of a few blankets to cushion my child’s fall when they roll or fall over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun interactive baby toy! I absolutely love putting my newborn down for tummy time on this mat. There is a lot for him to look at and play with! The sides fold up to make a mini ball pit and each toy is detachable for extra fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this play mat to my nephew who is one. He loved it. What I didn’t think would happen is that my almost two year old twins also loved it! It has so many features that keep them entertained for a while with the different toys including the musical instrument. I also like that you can flip the mat over to create a ball pit! This is one of the best, most thought out play mats we have used.

First, this is an amazing value, because babies can use and actually enjoy this play set from newborn to age 2. The play-mat is brightly colored, and engaging. The attached arches are both colorful, and black and white, for visual stimulation. This set has a tummy time pillow included, which is super handy and thoughtful. There are also little teething toys on rings that can be attached to the arches, or held in baby's hands for sensory development. As baby grows, the sides of the play mat can be flipped up to form a ball pit, and the balls are included. Another fun accessory is the xylophone that plays music, and practically guarantees hours of play. No worries, because the volume can be adjusted! The play mat and tummy time pillow can be easily cleaned, because both are machine washable. My little boy gets excited as soon as I lay him on the play mat. He kicks, and waves his arms, and makes all sorts of happy noises. When he is older, this play set will even help him to learn his colors, and counting. I have always bought toys from VTech for my older children, because I trust the brand to be educational, engaging, and affordable. This particular developmental gym has by far exceeded my expectations. I am astounded at the number of activities included in one toy, especially for what it is priced at. Honestly, VTech has hit it out of the park with this one. This would make a perfect gift for holidays, birthdays, baby showers, or just because. I highly recommend purchasing this one.

It was easy to put together and the overall quality of the product is very good. What I like most about it, is there are different stages so this play gym will last until my baby is a toddler. Also, I love that the mat turns into a ball pin! And what is so cute is the balls are stored in the little sloth when you are not using them! Overall great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving this I noticed it came with a lot of pieces. From the small black and white pictures to the balls to the hanging plastic pieces. It was fairly easy to put together although I did have to read the directions. My son is 5 1/2 months so he is working on rolling over, sitting up and crawling. I like the cards that come with the gym and think they would of been nice for when he was a little younger. I don’t like the plastic piece that comes with it to set the cards on. I also don’t like the blue piece of fabric that comes with it that keeps them together. I think this can actually be dangerous for the baby if they get ahold of it and put it in their mouth. My favorite part of the mat is the different textures and colors. My son liked the crinkly leaves the best as they seemed to keep his attention the most. He also liked the keyboard that played music as that seems to keep him entertained as well. As for the balls, they do come with a bag but I still don’t particularly like them as it is constant clean up. Overall, I know this gym is meant to grow with your baby but I don’t like everything that comes with it. I would prefer just the mat and a few small hanging pieces that come with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one absolutely loved this VTech® 7-in-1 Senses & Stages Developmental Gym™ tummy time wasn’t her favorite activity but since getting this play gym she doesn’t seem to mind spending time laying down and enjoying the fun colors and sounds. My daughters favorite part of this gym was definitely the colorful balls which also is helping her hand eye coordination by reaching and grabbing for the balls, I really like how versatile this play gym is it can be tuned into a play gym when baby is staring to sit up by themselves, so far I am really happy with his play gym and can’t wait to see my daughter enjoy it as she gets older.

There are so many activities to keep the babies engaged. The sounds, music and the ball pit keep my little one entertained the most while I do household chores with her the room with me.
