I bought this for a two-year-old boy. He really likes being able to use the drill. There are some buttons for interactive games but he wasn’t interested in that. It comes with a tool belt, but I also don’t foresee him using that overall it’s a cute toy, especially for the price point.

Originally got this as a baby shower gift since my husband is a mechanic and I had it stored away until my son was about 10-12 months old. He loves the tool belt and drill the most. The drill is small enough to fit on his hand and he likes the noise it makes.

Not sure why it’s so highly reviewed. The drill gets stuck sometimes, it’s hard physically for my 2yr hands as he can’t wrap his hand around it to reach the button on the drill. It only comes with 2 nails and 2 screws. The nail is so thin that when you place it in the hole to “hammer” it in there’s nothing to push in as it already reached the bottom. The questions are not fun and the music and sounds are disappointing compared to other vtech toys. You of course have to practically destroy the whole box to get the items out so I can’t see target allowing me to return it. $10 was too much for the disappointment.

Not worth $26. I see it’s now $14. So clearly they realized the price point was too high. The paper inserts do not stay down so they aren’t usable. It only comes with 2 screws. The pieces are small and my toddler keeps putting them in his mouth so I’m afraid he’ll choke on them so he can’t play with this toy unattended. The music stops and you have to turn the whole toy off and back on again to get the music buttons to work. It’s honestly such a useless toy. My husband picked this one out and fought me on it but if I could go back in time, I’d really put my foot down and not allow him to buy this toy. It’s the worst one we’ve bought to be honest.
Fun times ahead!

I love how interactive it is with the child. My 2.5 year old son really loves this! He got it as a gift from his grandma (my MIL) he was honestly playing with it the moment he unwrapped it before we even got the chance to take it out of the package 😂 he will sit and play with it for an hour (or more if he didnt have other toys to rotate his attention with!) the lights and sounds and the talking interactive part isn’t overstimulating and THANKFULLY this toy has 2 volume modes, and a 3rd as “off”. It has 3 interactive parts where it can either quiz you on tools with the little inserts, ask you questions where the toddler answers it physically the inserts on (real example): “which number is less than the number 3? Hammer a nail or screw in a screw the number!” And it will repeat (not obnoxiously, either) a few times while your toddler figured it out! The screwdriver is manual, via pumping the part that would turn an electric screwdriver on, and you can switch the screwdriver to make it either come OUT or go IN while screwing it! :-) (which took my son a few times to remember that the drill can do that; but repetitiveness and my adult guidance helped him learn and keep it down Pat/memorized it!) also it has a music one too for learning! my son loves it! It will congratulate you if you get it right, and if you get it wrong it will then ask you to hammer or screw in a number that would’ve been the answer. Which I think is brilliant because if you’re near them you can explain the possible answers and how that was the option (for the example mentioned above) for a lesser number than 3! :-) it comes with an adorable tool belt, and 2 of each screws and nails. Not only do they get to play imaginary but it’s very fun and interactive for the Rec 2-5 yr old age group. Last thing, another thing I love about this is that if it’s idle for a while bc your tot has walked away or became disinterested in it, after a while of it repeating itself it will automatically go “see you next time! Bye bye!” And shut off!! :-) unlike some toys that just obnoxiously KEEP going on and on and on! Love this toy and I soo recommend it for all genders and ages. I know my review is long but it’s worth the read 🥰

So my daughter absolutely loves it but be warned parents- the tiny parts are going to end up going missing or in random places! Haha My kid randomly asks for the tool belt to be put on and loves to walk around with the wrench or hammer. She’s my little miss fix it! It’s super cute!

Got this for a gift, kids loved it! They always want to help dad build and they figured it out instantly and felt so grown up with their own set of tools! Love how it actually screws into the board and is very real-like. Great gift - highly recommend

Our 3yo grandson started playing with this before we could take it out of the package. He knows exactly what each tool does & stayed very busy & preoccupied. A successful gift!!

I bought this for my 2 year old nephew and he liked it alot. My 8 year and 4 year old daughters enjoyed playing with it when he opened it. The only down side to this toy is that the drill and the tool belt do not fit into the toolbox but everything else does. The only part of the toy that requires batteries is the toolbox itself. The drill part moves around when the silver button is pushed.

Overall, it’s a good toy but it doesn’t work fully. The drill stopped working/spinning less than 5 minutes into playing with it. Also, there weren’t any cards included in the box.

Very good for motor skills, using the drill to screw in the parts. Has little holder on the side for the drill. All of the other tools fit right inside the toolbox. The little belt is cute too. Drill is kind of hard to use for tiny hands, my 2 year old struggled to get the hang of it for awhile
