VTech Hoop Madness Basketball

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler loved this. I love that you can adjust the height of the hoop. It’s an easy way to keep a toddler entertained on a cold and/or rainy day. It’s a hit in our house.

Impossible to assemle

Purchased this on a whim during a holiday sale, and I am so happy we ended up getting it. We have three children ages 6 and under and all three of them love this. There are several games that all three children can do at the same time, and I love how you can adjust the hight.

My almost 3 year old nephew loves this basketball hoop. He plays with it daily. His older brother (almost 7) likes shooting baskets with it too. It is very sturdy and was easy for me to assemble.

I bought this for my 18 month old who is still just a tad too small. It will be great for when he’s older it would also be better if it had a bigger back board but it is still good size.

It has two modes—counting and time challenges—that keeps my child entertained while helping develop skills. The different modes make it for hours of fun. The basketball hoop lights up, cheers, and provides encouraging feedback. The adjustable height is perfect for growing kids, and the sturdy build ensures it can handle enthusiastic play. My 20 year old was even able to play a few games with my toddler. It promotes motor development, hand-eye coordination, and early math skills with its fun counting feature. I would recommend this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] @influenster and @vtechtoys recently sent me the VTECH Hoop Madness Basketball Goal in exchange for my honest review, and my toddler really seems to enjoy it! The Hoop Madness game is an interactive basketball goal for toddlers/young children that features 3 game modes, and an electronic backboard that will play sounds and keep score for your child and one other player. It has an adjustable pole that will allow the game to grow with your child, as well as adjustable volume settings, also allowing you to mute the game while still showing the backboard game lights. My son has had a lot of fun learning to count "hoops" and playing with his other young cousin. I will say this thing was a PAIN to put together. It almost seemed like the screws were too big for the parts, we really had to force them in there. It is also supposed to be an indoor toy (due to having electronics), but unfortunately the base is hollow and needs to be filled with either water or sand to keep it steady. The hole for the sand/water is right on top of the base and BRIGHT ORANGE. Just the perfect thing that a toddler would want to pull on! I am terrified that one day I will enter my sons room and it will be a desert inside. A more sturdy/heavy base would make me feel a lot better about keeping the toy in my home. Definitely make this a "garage only" toy, if you have one! Overall, this is a fun little interactive toy for toddlers that will help them stay mobile and keep them entertained. I just wish all toddler/baby products weren't so hard to assemble.

My son and his cousins had so much fun playing with this hoop. He loves that it keeps score and makes noise too! My only complaint is that I needed real tools to put it together and it was notttt that simple of a process (I’m just a girl and my husband didn’t travel with us😅). It also requires batteries!

My teenage kids put it together for the little ones so I would say assembly was pretty good to follow if they were able to do it in really not much time. The young ones have been enjoying it. They like the lights and I like that it's an automatic shut off when no one is playing with it.

It was very interactive, but something that can be used outside but needs to be brought inside since it can’t get wet like a traditional basketball hoop. It was quite easy to assemble, and we added an extra weight on top of the stand so it can be better incase a kid gets to put of hand. This would be great for a playroom or basement.
