VTech Plug Sleep Training Soother Speaker

The size and portability is convenient for traveling, but it would be better if the plus would fold into the device, that would make it even better. It has a lot of features including songs, stories, and colorful lights. I think it actually has more options than the hatch which is impressive. However, it is not very intuitive and the directions are not super clear. For example, I can't figure out how to turn it on and off using the app and I'm not sure if that's because you can't do so or I just can't figure out how. I'm also having trouble figuring out how to change the favorites settings. Overall it's a good product but definitely takes a while to figure out and could be easier to use.

I never knew that a little speaker could also work as a Bluetooth while I’m in the other room if I walk away and my kids can hear me if I want to allow that. We can also listen from a range of pre-downloaded lullabies, piano music, calming sounds… did I mention this was a nightlight as well you can select your favorite colors, presets, what light/speaker do!? I would recommend all of my parent Friends trying to soothe their little ones!! 10/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not the best option in my opinion. I like being able to have the sound machine in a specific location. Being located at the outlet only really limits the setup of the room with the baby’s crib. The only outlet was up flush against the crib and way too close to the baby’s head. I also didn’t love the app user experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is ideal for babies and beyond. Truly any kiddo can benefit from the features on this v-hush. It has an app that you download to use along with the product. It doesn’t take long to understand and it connected to my Bluetooth on my phone easily. The colors are neat but I still went with a mild whitish/yellowish light. It’s nice to have options though. The music options are nice but some of them end up being too loud. I appreciate that the device isn’t very big so if we want to bring it when we travel it’s easy to pack.

We usually bring a battery powered sound machine for overnight travel, but with the V-hush we don’t have to bring a cord along. Vtech’s apps aren’t always the best, but overall this is simple to use and gets the job done. The sound quality is as expected.

Plugging right into the wall is very convenient. The sound is solid, and the app has a decent variety of sound and song choices. My only complaint is that I regularly had to restart the app to connect, as I would often get an error. I think the app needs a bit of work. But the product itself is very good, and we’ll continue to use it as a travel solution.

I can easily pack it up and take it with me for traveling. My only issue is connecting to the app because I have another VTech device and whenever I try to connect it the one I already own it turns off. So I wish the app setup was better/easier. My kids came out of their room screaming that their room went dark all because I was trying to set it up. 😅

You can play sounds, leave voice notes, adjust how bright or dim you prefer. I haven’t had any issues and will definitely be purchasing more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vtech V-Hush plug sleep trainer soother speaker is overall okay. You can control a couple of features on the monitor itself such as turning on and off with a tap, double tap to go to favorite setting, and tap and holding to adjust lighting. I wish it was a push button rather than a tap button. I just feel it would be easier for me since sometimes I tap it and maybe I’m just not tapping the right spot but it doesn’t always turn on. It has different options for music such as white noise, lullabies, classical music, short storybook reading, and you can completely customize it by recording yourself reading or singing and having that play. All those are great except for the classical music varies too much in loudness. It’ll be on one song and be the perfect volume but then the next song ends up being waaaay too loud. So I feel like they should be set to be the same volume between songs. There’s many options for different night light colors which is great. It syncs to my iPhone pretty easily and quickly but my husbands Samsung phone doesn’t stay connected. Im not sure if it’s because it can only be connected to one phone at a time. Which if that’s the case is a pitfall because if I’m not home he can only turn it on and adjust how bright the light is or use the “favorite” option. The app is pretty straight forward and easy to use. There is a limit to how far away you can be from the device to control it which I don’t love. It is not too bulky and can look nice in many different room decors. I feel with a little tweaking the device could be elevated a little more.

When I first got this soother I was able to synch it to my iphone using the app. I was able to change the color, scroll through the different songs/stories and adjust the volume. Now I cannot get the smoother to connect to my bluetooth despite forgetting the device and trying to find it again. I also tried deleting and reinstalling the app. I am so disappointed because this would have been good to use while traveling since it’s a plug and not an entire unit with a base and cords. Now all it does it play the same singular classical song and the night light part goes through all the colors. I can’t change the song, volume, or color. I wouldn’t recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compact design and sits close to the wall. Light is adjustable to the entire rainbow and has custom color wheel. The audio book, music and sound library is extensive for the device and the quality is good. I have had the hatch for quite a while and the pre-built in songs are high pitched and annoying while this is more mellow but still great for infants through small children. You can also prep record your own voice on it which might be good for commands or if you shave a good singing voice I guess. Side note - I originally thought you cna only connect one device at a time whichbibthought would be bad. However, it is only one phone can be on the app at a time. If two phones pair to it, you both can control it at any time but only if the other person has the app closed. Take this at you will. Also because this is Bluetooth, it is very portable. Just plug in and go.
