A: These are great for any type of cleaning. They pick up dirt even if not wet and the waffle squares trap it to the cloths. Since microfiber is made up of 80% polyester some cleaning products (especially bleach) could strip the color and/or affect the durability of the fibers. These are the ideal cloth for glassware since they are truly lint-free and also great for polishing!

A: Hi Old Lady, Thank you for your question. The Microfiber Waffle Cloths are absolutely for washing dishes. The waffle squares scoop up any grime and wipe it away. Also good for glassware since they are lint free.

Have bought for years! Have a different color for each season! Love them! Orange ones bleed at first. I got the orange dish drying towels that match for fall. I wash them together with my multicolored fall leave hand drying towels. Love them all. And my husband likes them!!

I have washed these 3 full cycles in washing machine. When I use to wash dishes they still have orange dye running out of them. Do not buy orange colored ones. (not sure if other colors do the same). It's a nice material but the dye running ruins it. Can't use and had to throw away.

I've washed these three times--first by hand, as recommended, then in the washing machine (long cycle with a Color Catcher), then a third time with an even longer wash cycle and another Color Catcher. I could live with that except for the fact that they bleed WHILE USING THEM on dishes. Also, the combo of microfiber and waffle weave makes every bit of food get embedded in the little squares, so it's impossible to rinse them clean between uses. Huge disappointment. Don't bother.

These have such good promise — absorbent and fast drying — but the color runs. I washed a single cloth in a load of mixed laundry and the color bled into other clothes. I haven't had to deal with that sort of issue for years since dying quality has improved so much.

I would love these if they were about half the thickness. They take a long time to dry, are hard to wring out completely, and as a result they get musty. Still looking for my perfect dishcloth.

I use for washing dishes and mine have an odd smell. I can’t figure out if it’s something I’ve cleaned or just the cloths themselves. I’ve soaked them in bleach (no discoloration! And baking soda) the smell is still there. I will be replacing as soon as possible. Just because of the smell.

I loved these while they lasted! They felt luxurious and I liked having them in my kitchen. They didn't wash the best, and ended up feeling fairly run down after a few months of use. But while they lasted they were great.

These are great dishcloths. The only problem I have had with the orange color is that the color bleeds...a lot. I ended up soaking them to get the color to stop bleeding so be careful when you wash them with other items for the first time or so.
