Wakefield Peanut Company continues to cultivate a tradition of excellence that began more than 150 years ago when the first commercial peanut crop in the United States was grown a few miles west of our location. We hire only the finest American workers and are known around the Peanut industry for our ethical practices and excellent working conditions. All of our crop sold on this listing is from the freshest, most current crop available. Natural, unsalted animal peanuts that have been removed from the shell. High energy food source; perfect for animals post-rut, when they are worn down and need to pack on some weight. Provides good chewing exercise and essential fatty acids and protein in their most natural state. Ideal for squirrels, birds, chickens, deer, chipmunks, foxes, raccoons and other outdoor wildlife. Some bird species that especially loves these are Ducks, Geese, Parrots, Towhees, Grackles, Crows, Blue Jays, Scrub Jays, Steller's Jays, Ravens, Woodpeckers, Northern Cardinals, Dark-Eyed Juncos, Pyrrhuloxia, Titmice, Tits, Chickadees, Nuthatches, Wrens and Doves. We recommend to roast or boil the peanuts before feeding to animals. Peanuts are always from the current crop. These are a mix of fancy and jumbo peanuts.
