Q: Is this fully waterproof to the point where you can submerge it fully in water?
submitted by Matei - 7 months ago
A: It is not, manual says not to fully submerge. I tested and water would get into the battery compartment even when sealed. It still worked, but probably would eventually short out.

Purchased 3 of these for each of my sons. The manual said to be sure to screw on the cover for the battery compartment to keep water out. Well, guess what. Water got in anyway and shorted it. Reached out to the company who was initially responsive, and then they ghosted me after I painstakingly sent them my receipts and all the info they requested. Ignore the 5⭐️ review telling you to ignore the bad reviews. Like me, you will regret basing your decision to buy this on that review.

They seemed ok for the price but are not sealed and go water in them and quite after second use. Do not buy! I tried to reach manufacturer and they will not respond.

Using this new battery powered water gun makes me reflect on the simpler times of water fights. At 28 years old I can say this brought back so much nostalgia and fun, highly recommend getting this product. With quick refill time and awesome distance hitting this is a great investment for future water wars. Haha

Worked about two times. Charged battery as instructed, kept in good condition as far as wetting battery or anything like that. Charged battery and nothing, completely dead. DO NOT BUY.

Stopped working the same day we got it. I read the directions before operating, it’s working for about 25 minutes and now all it does is run the motor. So disappointing for my 5 year old.
Just go old school

Stopped working after the first week and even after charging, it will not power on at all. Battery is supposed to be waterproof and gun should not be submerged to refill, but is time consuming and even after being so cautious now doesn't work at all. Lost out on 40 bucks for both!

It was fun for the two days it lasted! After 2 days it stopped working. Similar to some other reviews, nothing happens when the trigger is pulled. It sucks up water just fine, but the pump to shoot must already be broken. My son was very sad after saving his money to buy this. Not response yet from the company, so we'll see if they support their product. I will update the review if they do.

Water In Gun When Purchased

We got this gun as a gift, and when we opened it water was already inside of it - so we thought that maybe someone used it and returned it and they didn't quality check before stocking the shelves. When we returned it we asked that they check the remaining 4 on the shelf and they ALL had water already inside of them. The Target employee tried to convince us that the company probably tests them and then packs them? So weird. This is how you sell moldy water toy products to kids. Anyway... make sure to check it before you buy it I suppose!

This was super fun until the trigger stopped working after about 15 minutes of use. It will still pull in water but nothing happens with the trigger. Tried to look inside but that was no help. Maybe mine was defective but this was a huge disappointment.

nice try at imitating the spyra but this is a super leaker as much as it is a super soaker. water leaks through all the crevices within the device which means this will also grow mold.

This water eblaster is amazing very nice and sleek design. The blaster shoots about 20 feet or so. The self filling feature is amazing. I will put it to more tests so far so good my 3 year old loves it.

Fun water blaster. I was a bit skeptical about the blaster's performance and quality due to the price, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it performed. I tested it right out of the box, didn't charge the battery, and it performed well for the price. I got it for my son, and I know he will like this since he's into Nerf. Don't pay too much mind on the 3 star review that is crying over nothing. They should have just bought a regular squirt gun. Any regular screw driver works and you can find replacement charger and battery at a local hobby shop that specializes in anything RC.
Proprietary charge... something else to lose.

Everything worked great, but it comes with a rechargeable battery that has to be removed with a special screw driver then charged with a special charger. Now we have two must have parts that are super small and sure to be lost. Then it’s a paperwieght.
