It had one job, to line the shower curtain to repel water. 0/10 husband showered and left a giant puddle of water, ready to lecture him on how to make sure liner was closed despite nearly 11 years of successful shower curtain usage while we have been married. I also take shower, with smug confidence of knowing how to use shower curtain liner. Even more giant puddle of water upon getting out. It is a nice light curtain and I guess would be okay as an actual shower curtain but if the expectation is to block water, get a different one.

These were listed as water repellant but this liner did not keep the shower water from leaking through onto the floor, etc., (yes, I do know how shower liners should work,! But these liners didnt' perform.) Will prob end up return

Direct water pressure unto the Liner will cause the water to saturate through the fabric and could create a puddle on the floor. Please make sure the sprayer is directed away from the curtain and both sides of the liner are drawn securely to the sides of the tub. If you should have any other questions regarding this item. Love the price on this well made, washable liner. I wash my shower curtain liners as many times as I can before they get moldy on the bottom and have to toss them. These really hold up and I love that they are fabric and there’s no chemical smell like with the plastic ones.

I can't stand plastic shower curtians. I wasn't sure about fabric liner after reading reviews about mold, but I have had no problem. I live in Florida and have no exhaust fan in my restroom so it can get quite humid. I spray the curtian with disenfectant spray about once a week. I have had this curtain for months now. I've taken it down once to wash, though it really didn't need it. There has been no mold or water stains.

I've bought a slightly more expensive liner from this company before, and figured that a cheaper backup would be fine. At first glance, it looks fine - clean white, size lines up neatly with standard curtain, fabric is a little plasticy feeling but not more than expected. The problem is it doesn't do the job. It doesn't seem to be leaking or taking in a ton of water, but it sure isn't stopping it. Every single time the shower has been used since putting it on, water has leaked right through and onto the floor, soaking the side of the tub and the bathmat. I checked for any other factors that could've impacted, but nothing appeared. Put on the old liner and everything's fine again. This isn't worth saving even as a backup or decoration.

I was hoping to be able to use this instead of a plastic shower curtain liner, but the entire rim of the tub behind the liner was wet the first time I used it. There was even water on the floor. And I don't think I took a particularly splashy shower, and the shower head isn't aimed directly at the curtain or anything like that. I wasn't looking for a completely waterproof shower curtain, but this doesn't seem any more water repellant than any other piece of thin fabric would be.

I use fabric liners under my decorative shower liner. I stopped using PVC base items a few yeas back. Prefer the fabric because they can be thwon in the washer and they don't give off any chemical odor like some PVC type shower liner.
