[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I enjoy playing Shoot the Moon in the evenings against each other even our toddler plays. The quality and styling of the game is excellent which makes for a great conversation piece displayed in our living room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive this nostalgic game and play something from yesteryear, however, I was disappointed with this game. The directions on how to put it together weren't very clear, now how to play, so we were confused. Playing, we found that the interest ran out quickly and everyone gave up. The wood stain was pretty but that was about all we enjoyed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is cute. The wood and paint are nice looking. It's easy to set up but the instructions don't match the version we got. The instructions direct you to use 4 screws and 3 wooden pieces, but ours had 2 screws and only 2 wooden pieces. Ours was also labeled differently, with steps to get to the moon vs the planets which made the instructions confusing. It's a nice game that looks great on your coffee table. The kids and I all enjoyed it.

I had never heard of it before, so I was intrigued....but also wondered how fun it could be. Well, it is loads of fun! It is hard to stop playing once you start because you just HAVE to "Shoot the Moon!" It is well made as well...no plastic here! I definitely recommend! :o)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I got the free sample game "Shoot the Moon" to try out! Awesome, I love games and this one you can have 1 to infinite amount of people to play. It is a strategy game of course. You have to roll a metal marble up hill to score the higher points. Sounds impossible, huh? So far it is for me, the highest I can score is 1000, but I WILL get to that 5000 sooner or later (hoping sooner rather than later). Anyways, you had to screw in a wood part to set the game up but once it is set up, the game seems sturdy enough and guess what it is fun... well if you like cussing at the little metal ball when it drops. HA! Not really cussing but you are like darn it... and quickly try again. The object is to pull the metal holders apart fast enough without having the ball fall through. You are trying to gain momentum to get the ball to go up the hill which is higher point values.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, first, the instructions for assembly are for a different Shoot the Moon game, which has two screw-on panels instead of one, but I quickly figured out what I needed to do. But the real problem is that this is so poorly manufactured, one of the holes for one of the metal rods was not drilled deeply enough and is easily 1/2" higher than the other, so playing the game is impossible. I'm very disappointed.

It was easy to put together and it can be for as many players as you want, great for parties. It is great competition for friends and I really enjoyed playing. It can be played anywhere, home, friends house, camping. It is very different than other games out there because it is simple to put together and learn how to play. It is good to have on hand for something fun to do at any get together. Great for all ages and really fun and interesting to play. I got it as a free sample and I am really glad I did because it is something the whole family enjoys together.

My husband and I even had a little competition and I won! It's nice to unhook from technology and go back to just relaxing and having good old fashioned fun.
