WE THE WILD 11W LED Instant Sun Grow Bulb Black

Here on the Target app, under specifications, it lists the lumens of this bulb at 2,700, as of 4/20/25. According to the bulb’s packaging, it’s actually 503 lumens, and it’s a 10 watt bulb not 11 watts. A picture of the side of the bulb’s packaging that lists the specifications is not shown in the product images. For a 10 watt bulb with only 503 lumens, this bulb gets scorching hot! Within about 20 minutes; it got so hot that I could not keep my finger on the black surround of the bulb for more than two seconds. I bought two of these bulbs on one curbside order, and I was initially thrilled with them because of the warm glow of the light. So the next day I placed a curbside order for two more; I was worried they might sellout. I now know, this light bulb is essentially mood/ambient lighting, and I didn’t realize how hot they get until a few days after buying four of them. I trashed the packaging on two of the lights; those light bulbs will be trashed. I will return the other two lights... For over a year I used Sansi grow lights, and though they were effective, I hated the color of the light; I always felt like I was in a laboratory. So, I started to hunt for a 3,000k colored light bulb. I wanted a Soltech bulb, but I was not wanting to pay roughly $90 for a single bulb. So I was thrilled to find this bulb, We The Wild, thinking it might be a Soltech dupe, but turns out it’s not even close. Then I tried a handful of cheap 3,000k grow light bulbs on Amazon, and the color was never just right, always too white or too yellow. I even tried standard 3,000k bulbs that were not listed as grow lights, still the same problem. I caved and bought the $90 Soltech bulb, and it is exactly what I wanted. However, I need at least five bulbs, ideally seven, so the search continued. I stumbled upon the Valikiy grow lights on Amazon, I bought the pendant, which I got on sale for $86.59 with a $20 coupon, and I bought several individual Valikiy 20 watt bulbs, $20 a bulb. I have been thrilled with the Valikiy lights, they are a true warm white, though not the amber glow I was wishing for; they do get warm, but not scorching hot. I am not sponsored to mention the Valikiy lights on Amazon, only sharing incase you’re trying to find a pleasant colored light, that’s a solid dupe for Soltech products, and doesn’t get scorching hot like this We The Wild bulb. All of these LED bulbs produced some heat, even the Soltech bulb got very warm, but never hot.

This bulb with simple and easy to use. I was able to put it in an existing lamp that I already had and shine the lamp on my plants that need a little extra TLC. Also at an affordable price point!

I love that I can use this bulb in any of my lamps. It is a great product at a great price.

This grow bulb is so easy to use on any lamp that sits next to my plants. Allows me to keep my minimal aesthetic with ensuring my plant gets enough light!
