A: Hi, great question! A disposable 14 or 16 ounce propane tank will last about 1.5 to 2 hours. A standard 20 lb propane tank should last about 18-20 hours on most grills. We always recommend that you have an extra tank on hand because you don’t want to run out in the middle of a grilling session!

A: Hi, thank you for your interest! The Traveler model uses a standard 1lb. propane tank. It can also accommodate a full-size, 20 lb. fuel tank when using an adapter hose, Weber part number #6501.

The Weber Traveler Portable Grill is attractive, folds closed easily & compactly, the wheels make it simple to move around. Temperature seems good & it’s the perfect size for cooking for the two of us or even adding guests without being cumbersome. I am so happy to have replaced the big old grill!

I have only used this travel grill a few times, and it no longer works. Can't get it to light. I have tried two different propane tanks (both have fuel) but it will not light.

Always wanted one of these, waited long enough for a seasonal clearance sale at a local lumber yard that sells Weber products. It's a great BBQ that gets hot enough to sear meat very good. Gets up 600 degrees F in about 13 minutes so I'm happy with that. I have had 3 racks of baby back ribs on it was on low heat that turned out perfect. Being a snowbird from Canada I like it's very easy to store for the summer by its capability of folding. Don't get me wrong about size because sometimes a big grill is nice when rotisserie meat is on the menu. But for us during the winter I also have a smoker for that type of meals.

This is such a great portable bbq unit. I use this for both my house and when we go camping in our RV. I bought the extra hose to hook up a large propane tank and it works perfectly. Heats up quick and cooks the food so good. The ease of collapsing the unit for storage/transport is a huge plus! Please of cooking space and the removable trip tray is perfect. This unit is so easy to clean as well. Weber did a great job and I highly recommend everyone to get this unit! I'm looking at getting the griddle accessory that fits on this bbq unit as well.

We loved our Weber 2200. Never failed us as we used it practically every night. The Traveler is a great replacement as we RV travel most of the year. Immediately bought the griddle for us to be able to cook outside more. Only have to have one item instead of 2.

Great grill!! I’d def buy again and highly recommend. Love the portability and adapter hose option for larger tanks, however, I’m one of those who likes to keep things clean after every grilling and cleanup is NOT easy to do. Weber def needs to look into designing some disposable aluminum inserts for the bottom of the grill under the flame/gas burner tube. I think it can be easily done, as I was able to utilize long 2 sheets of aluminum foil to accomplish something similar but WAAAAY easier n better to clean.

Fantastic grill while still being portable. Large cooking area, cast iron grates, Weber quality, stable stand. Best feature it folds up and stands on end taking up very little space. I find clean up relatively easy and the disposable drip pan is a great feature.
