Q: Is this ok to get wet if forgot to put cover on?
A: Hello Michelle, Thank you for your inquiry. We highly recommend our fire units get covered when not in use to avoid the humidity as it can cause rust on the fire ring, and other unfortunate superficial defects. I hope my answer is of help! As always, feel free to let us know if you have any further questions or concerns. Have a lovely day!

Q: Any ideas for what to do if you are able to get it lit but once you stop pushing in the control knob on low the flame goes out? We’ve already reset the excess safety flow valve and it didn’t fix it.
A: Hello Heather, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue with your Wellington Fire Pit unit. We understand your frustration and want to assist you in resolving this matter. Based on your description, it seems you've already taken steps to reset the excess flow safety valve without success. Here are some additional troubleshooting instructions that may help: 1. Please ensure that: - Your propane tank is new and full. - The regulator connector is securely connected to the tank. - There are no kinks or bends in any of the wiring. - The battery is inserted correctly. - Nothing is wet or in direct contact with moisture. 2. If all the above checks out, and you're still experiencing issues, it's possible that the excess flow safety valve has been triggered. To reset it, please follow these steps: - Turn the Control Knob to the ‘OFF’ position. - Close the Tank Valve and disconnect the Propane gas tank. - Turn the Control Knob to ‘HIGH’ and wait for 1 minute. - Turn the Control Knob back to the 'OFF’ position. - Reconnect the Propane gas tank. - Light the fire unit following the instructions in the ‘To Light’ section of your instruction manual. 3. If the safety valve has been reset and you're still encountering issues, please try the following troubleshooting method: - Turn the unit from "OFF" to "LOW". - Simultaneously push from "LOW" to "HALF" while holding in the ignition. Please note that this method may require several attempts to be effective. Additionally, it may take up to 15-20 minutes for gas flow to stabilize after reconnecting the propane tank. If you continue to experience difficulties after trying these steps, please do not hesitate to contact Target's customer service team directly. They are here to assist you further and ensure your fire unit operates correctly. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to resolve this issue promptly.
