A: Hello, thank you for your inquiry. We are happy to answer your question. We recommend the mattress be no more than 8" in height to allow for ease of rolling trundle in and out from under the Westchester Daybed. Hope this helps; we were glad to assist!

A: There is an opening from the bottom of the back panel to the top of the mattress support for the Westchester Daybed.

Q: Does the trundle pop up and detach from the bed? Is the backside of the daybed sofa upholstered in the same fabric?

A: This is a roll out trundle only t does not attach to the daybed. The back of the daybed has a black fabric backing.

A: It does come with slat pack, and that is what the mattress sits on. Recommended weight limit is 300lbs. This daybed is appropriate for adults.

A: A standard twin mattress will work for the daybed and trundle. However, with the trundle Hillsdale recommends a 7" mattress instead of an 8"

We bought this for our guest room about 6 months ago. It’s very well made! The color is a nice neutral grayish. We’re very with this Daybed and would definitely recommend!
