Q: Would this lamp work if I were to put a dimmable LED bulb in the fixture and use a dimming remote with it?

I originally purchased 2 lamps on 12/19 online. When they arrived, one was fine, one was damaged. I get that issues can happen during transit, so I asked for a replacement and kept trucking. Fast forward to today, a packaged arrived with 2 more lamps. One arriving broken, and both having a noticeable lean. At this point this is clearly an issue with manufacturing, giving the product one star because the one lamp that was as described does work as a lamp should. Your odds are 1/4 with this product… may the odds be in your favor.

A big disappointment. Received these two lamps and both had the area at the light socket broken also big scratches on the base of one of the lamps ( look like a used lamp not a brand new one) Returned both lamps to the store and I will never order again from Target.

I love the product, but I have ordered this lamp base twice, and both times it arrived slightly damaged on the marble base. Both times the box it arrived in was in perfect shape and it was wrapped well on the inside, so it appears to be put in damaged before shipping. I returned the one that was damaged on the front side, but decided to keep the one that was slightly damaged on the back since it won’t be visible where I am placing it.

This is a great, sturdy, lamp perfect for our family room end table. I have young children who tend to knock over objects on surfaces, this lamp is solid and likely would survive a few bumps from active children. This lamp does not come with a lamp shade, must be purchased separately. I bought one and am considering a second for the other side of the room.

Well for the price that it is, I don’t think the purchase is worth it. I should have known that from the first picture of the product is exactly what you’re getting. It’s misleading to see the lamp with a shade and have customers think that’s what they’re purchasing. It’s a nice base but not worth the price when not fully equipped.

I needed to order this lamp to replace one I bought, because the wood base was scratched up. The new one I received had a couple of nicks in the base but not as bad as the first one. I plan on toching it up with a brown marker.

The lamp is cute, however it is really frustrating that the lamp shade doesn’t come with the lamp. Or at the very least the lamp shade should be an option to add on when purchasing. I had to get them in the mail before realizing it didn’t come with the lampshades, then I went back on the item on the target website and couldn’t find anywhere a link to the lampshade shown in the product photos. Seriously??!! How do you just make customers have to sift through lampshades to try and find the one shown in photos with the lamp? There should be lampshade matches shown with the lamp and you can purchase it with the lamp.

I purchased this lamp at the store for my Granddaughter. I loved the design so much I ordered 2 for myself. The style is contemporary/modern and a perfect blend. It has a heavy base to support it. The square shade works well, but I preferred the rectangular straight shade. Finding the right shade with the right height can be tricky though since the shade I found is a little short but will do for now. It fits on my desk and one next to my chair. Granddaughter used hers next to her small bed side table. Also, I did have to return of the lamps because it arrived broken (the base) and the top plastic part that the shade sits on. Was NOT packed well and is the reason for arriving broken.

There is no knob to turn it on or off, you have to unplug it from the wall. Extremely disappointing and misleading ad. Second time I’ve received something from Target that is defective or missing items. Don’t waste your money.
