I was skeptical at first, but it glides through coils and kinks with minimal breakage and zero pain especially when used on damp, conditioned hair. The flexible bristles work with the texture, not against it, making detangling so much easier for my kids and myself. It doesn’t rip or tug, and it helps retain length by reducing shedding. As a beauty pro, I’ve tried countless tools, but this one stays in my kit for both everyday use and protective style prep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brush had a hard time getting through the tangles near the ends of the hair. You can see and hear that terrible sound when a brush gets caught. I would recommend this brush to someone with moderately wavy hair and not tightly curled hair.

I have much thicker hair than the average gal so I value the frosted texture of this brush because I get way better control and grip during wash day than with other brushes. This eliminated previous hand pain & brush drops. My cosmetologist even said this made her job easier when I brought it in to try out a new sleek style. The bristles do a great job at separating lost hair while brushing and it’s easy to remove it all too.

There isn’t a lot of pulling and I don’t have a lot of hair loss when I use this brush. Having more curly/wavy hair I generally don’t brush my hair often but when I do I use this!

My girls would cry every time no matter how many brushes we tried, but now they their keep saying they love to brush because they want the hair super soft... I believe it's worth the price... the only thing i didn't like was packaging, but of course, it doesn't affect in any way...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wish that I could say I loved this brush…But it caused so many tangles just for regular detangling in the shower! It kept snagging on every other curl—painful. And it also made hair drying take double the time (while also causing tangles there as well). If anything, it is a good brush for initial detangling, but I still had to use my Tangle Teaser for the main wash. It’s the design with the tiny and thin bristles, I think. It may work great for some, just not for me.
