Wish I had read ingrediants better... approx. 6 weeks ago started using this gel. Noticed more hair in shower drain but pushed it off as stress or something. Until my hair fell out in the shower like a horror movie. The only reason I "know" it was the gel, the clumps of hair ONLY fell out where I applied the gel. I'm not talking few extra strands, but handfuls of hair and a doctor visit. Not good for all hair

I really wanted to like this gel since it’s the only one that seems to be marketed towards people with thick hair (hence the XL container), but I have decided to move on because it has a short hold duration and causes my scalp to be extremely itchy. My hair will look beautiful on day 1, but already looks frizzy and very shrunken on day 2, it just doesn’t have a lasting hold. I have coily hair.

I have 4c hair and it's very hard to slick my hair back or into a ponytail. Other gels don't hold my hair down (even the flyaways) like this one. It doesn't dry white or leave my edges looking crusty. I love this stuff.

They only have the green cap and although i haven't did a deep dive on the ingredients this "new" gel is crispy. I use this brand for my type for wash n gos and this new formula left my hair crispier than starch used on a pair of your dads blue jeans. I'm not saying the gel isn't buyable but its giving Prince average WE WANT THE BLUE CAP BACK WETLINE !!! I would say if you like crispy curls get it and it worked good on keeping my thick edges down but other than that it isnt touching the blue cap imo.
