"Based on the YouTube sensation"--Jacket.Book Synopsis
Do you know what the fox says? Based on the hugely popular YouTube video with more than 200 million views, this picture book is packed full of foxy fun. Dog goes woof. Cat goes meow. Bird goes tweet and mouse goes squeak...But what does the fox say? The lyrics of Ylvis's YouTube sensation "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)" meet Svein Nyhus's playful illustrations in this irresistibly entertaining read-aloud picture book.
Review Quotes
As media tie-ins go, this is a no-brainer...the premise of the book is child friendly, incorporating actual animal calls ("Dog goes woof. / Cat goes meow./ Bird goes tweet / and Mouse goes squeak."), as well as a variety of silly noises, which will go down as atreat during storytime.-- "Booklist"

I read this book only having heard the song once or twice ages ago. So I started reading it not expecting anything, and then… it got silly. Soon my son and I were in hysterics, and here I am buying it for him for Xmas.
My son loves this book.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I enjoyed the song, but I like the book so much more! It's fun to read to my one year old and she tries to make the fox sounds with me. The illustrations are a little...odd...but it's art and interesting! As long as the pictures don't scare my child, they're ok by me! I would buy this for a gift and recommend it to others.
