I thought I knew the adversities a pastor went through until I read this book. There is so much more that can be used to discourage and cripple these called men of God. My heart is broken for them and I will henceforth make a more conscious effort to pray for my pastor(s) each week. I count it a privilege to pray in this way-guided by the topics, insight and sample prayers contained within this devotional. Several of the topics covered include wisdom, preparation, leading, weariness, hope, comparisons and encouragement, to name a few. Each day provides a discussion of the topic, a reflection and a sample prayer to pray for your pastor(s). Plans provided at the end of this book as potential uses of this prayer guide- Pray for 30 days using this resource-repeat at least once a year Praying for 3-5 minutes a day-repeat at least once a year Worship service prayer team-pray during worship I received this book from the author/publisher free of charge, with no expectation of a positive review.
