The look and height of this frame is great, and it was super easy to put together. It is also quite sturdy feeling. However, my foam mattress sinks between the slats which is destroying the support of my firm mattress. The slats are too narrow and far apart so any weight on the mattress does not distribute, it just sinks. I ordered the full size and the slats at the head and foot of the frame are definitely not that close to the ends, it is at least a 6" gap. So if you were to sit on the end of the bed the edge of the mattress would fall into the gap. Maybe if you have a different kind of mattress or use a box spring this would be a great budget bed frame, which is why I rated 3 stars instead of lower. I definitely would not recommend for foam mattresses.
